What are the scientific names of some of these legal research chems being put into bunk pills and being sold as bath salts?

Bath salts started out mostly as mephedrone. Why meph instead of BK I will never know but they're both gone now. once everyone knows and half of the users get too fucked up it ruins it all haha.

Vendors use the term 'bath salts' / 'plant fertilizer' as the products they are selling have not been tested as safe for human consumption. The actual chemical you could be buying could be literally anything.

PLEASE - do not start listing Product names / Contents - as (as has been proven) the contents change so quickly.
