Benzos Best drug(s) for social anxiety

Hello oncloud9... If you can get ahold of xanax, that would be the best because it works extremely quickly, but if not, then I would recoment some k-pins (just remember they release slower than xanax and last longer) and percs... It depends on your tollerance, but that would be my best advice... Hope it helps and good luck... Just be yourself man and if she doesnt dig you, the f*** her... There are plenty of others out there...:-)

IMO the best drug for social anxiety is no drug. If you start to use a drug for social anxiety, you'll become dependent on it for this purpose, and then trying to function in social situations will be that much harder without it. Just push through uncomfortable situations and you'll be better at them, and the confidence gained will be genuine, not drug-induced and fleeting.

I never had social anxiety & never will, I like being around people but when I lose gambling or something doesnt go right in my life, stress & anxiety set in & cause more ohysical pain in my back, so...........

For me, I'd say it's Phenibut or Gabapentin. Of course pretty much any gabaergic will make you feel less social anxiety, but it can get sloppy quite quickly with things like alcohol and certain benzodiazepines. Etizolam is great for social anxiety, though I suppose it's not a true benzo. Phenibut for me reduces my social anxiety a huge amount. The only problem is, running out of it can (at least for me) lead to crippling depression. Good news is, it's legal and non FDA regulated so you can stock up.

For me staying sober actually helps with my social anxiety, but I'd rather enjoy the effects of my vyvanse, so much more productive, eat less, more motivated and focused. When I take too much at work I sweat a lot and I think my managers know I'm tweeking. I get akward and it makes it hard for me to talk to people, but when im sober im a social butterfly. Cocky, confident, bubbly, goofy, nice, but fucking lazy. I find that drinking is the best way to cure my anxiety, but I cant go to work reeking of booze. Benzos and dope are always great, but I dont have the funds for dope, and the access to benzos everyday. Heroin and vyvanse is the best for me, fuck it heroin period. If it wasnt so goddamn expensive I would do it all day everyday. Heroin honestly makes me a better person, i think. But its just so expensive...

opiates help, but i wouldnt recommend you start using those. thats pretty much the only reason i got addicted to oxycodone, because i loved the anxiety free feel-good feeling it gave me (obviously), but the anti anxiety part came first. sometimes i would refuse to smoke weed if i didnt do any oxy because i know i would get anxious and self conscious.

xanax helps me immensely and i feel as though i should be prescribed. when im a moderate dose of xanax i feel normal, my mind is clear, and im not self conscious or anything. i'd imagine its like that with every other anti-anxiety too.

tramadol. but thats a whole nother story. unconventional yet mild and not overwhelming.

You got the best Benzos only thing I would add is Nitrazepam or some Good Weed if you like that Opioids can help too.

That is not entirely true.

I recall maybe 2 or 3 people who have stopped with using stimulants and/or benzos for some time (not that heavy use, though) have reported that their social anxiety just vanished and they are now much more confident in sober situations where they were previously usually on some drugs. Of course, I'm not saying this will be the everyone's case. But it is worth noting!

Also, I've been trying and trying to "push through", and it takes years to make maybe 10% progress on becoming that social person you want to be. Especially if you were shy by nature.

Just wanted to update you guys on my experience.

I found the vyvanse and k-pin combo a bit disappointing as I felt kind of anxious still, and it gave me a weird feeling as well. I found however the dexedrine and k-pin combo was a bit better.

Going to stick to morphine ER and IR and or percocets as I found it was much better at lowering my anxiety at times where I'm prone to panic type attacks.

Morphine is awesome at lowering anxiety & it has legs which last a long time.

I have major social/generalanxiety and no wonder speed didn't help you... It doesn't exactly have relaxing qualities.
In my experience taking like .5-2mg k-pin and 1 or 2 beers is perfect for anxiety(depending on how often you do or are used to it).
But yes opiates most always help... But careful on that path, unless you're already there.

Actually Dexedrine did help me with my anxiety and made me kind of a relaxed feeling. I take k-pins by themselves and work great for anxiety.

Just saying that morphine is better at reducing my anxiety, but the downside is my cognitive functions are often impaired.

Of course opiates are going to be the most superior anxiolytics, however, I prefer to use them recreationally, and not for any real therapuetic purpose, though they will elimenate any maladies I may have should I have them. I think they are very under-rated as anxiolytics, and while benzos can help, opiates can obliterate anxiety like a wrecking ball smashing against a flimsy building. Benzos DO relax you and disinhibit you and calm you and all, but opiates relax you in a very different way and block signals of discomfort to the brain. Amphetamines, though, can help with social anxiety in particular via their extremely stimulating action, and the confidence and security they cause one to feel. All of these will help, and for therapuetic purposes I think it mostly trial and error.
