Opioids Mixing Lortab or oxy IR. with klonopin?

Before I start, I know this question has probably been asked before. Sorry If it has.

OK, so I'm a 15 yr old male and I take OXY 10s OR HYDRO 10s (which are prescribed to me) for pain, but I take them mostly to get high.

I have access to Klonopin 1 mg. I was wondering if it would be a good "mix". would it give me a better high? both of those medications are downers I believe so I need someone with experience with mixing the 2 to answer this question. If they would make me more high I was going to take 50-70 mg of oxy or hydro(since i have a tolerance) and 2mg of klonopin if their any good.

Yes, that combination can be very enjoyable.

DISCLAIMER: I started using pills around that age, and I am 22 now. My graduating class of High School has lost 6 people due to that combination of opiods/benzo's. You are playing with fire.

I suggest not mixing them, especially at your age - for the simple reason that you are setting yourself up for future disaster.

IF YOU DO, please follow these instructions:

Take half of your normal oxycodone dose, and no more than 1mg of klonopin.

Are you tolerant to benzo's? If you do not have experience with klonopins, I would suggest taking .5mg to start with.

If you have no benzo tolerance, I advise starting off very slowly. Try 0.25 mg - 0.5 mg Klonipin with a normal recreational dose of opiates for you, whatever that may be depending on your tolerance. Opiates and benzos are dangerous to mix, so you want to be very careful in doing so. Seriously no more than 0.5 mg Klonipin would I recommend, and I would start at 0.25 mg just to be safe, again assuming you have no benzo tolerance. Take the Klonipin before the opiates, and let it sedate you first so it doesn't dull down the opiate high. Klonipin can be subtle, but it is in fact quite potent, and quite sedating for someone with no tolerance, so again DON'T take too much Klonipin even if you can't "feel" it. Klonipin comes on slow compared to other benzos, and lasts a while. Start low and slow, be careful, and have a good time. Expect a more sedated, relaxing opiate high with a better nod or better chance of a nod.

Yea if you're going to do it, just take less than you would normally, of both. You can always take more if need be. Be careful with that shit.

This is very good advice, I too suggest you take the Klonopin first to see how it effects you.

You have some REAL pain issues, I read your post in the pain management thread. Do you really want to be fucking with pain medication that you may likely need for the rest of your life? You're tolerance will eventually be so high no doctor will touch your file. I'm just saying, I was introduced to opiates and benzos at a very young age and now require them for pain, and having a huge tolerance has made it very difficult for me to get enough pain relief to live my life the way I want to.

I'm not going to discuss combining benzos with opiates with you, not after the people, friends, and family in my life that combo put in the ground. Just saying, no parent should ever have to bury their kid.

edit: I didn't mean to be morbid, just realize that there are consequences.

Everyone is being extra careful here seeing that you are young. Yes it is a dangerous combo, as it has already been said take like half your dose of each drug. What is your pain issue btw if i may ask
