18mg Hydromorph contin

ive got a single 18mg Hydromorph contin capsule(Yellow).

Im on a 36mg dose of daily methadone, and havent used any other opiate for about a year, i want to get buzzed but IV and Plugging are out of the question so i guess up the nostril it is. Can someone help guide me on how to prepare n how much i should be taking ? Is it enough to over-ride the 36mg meth dose ?

Crush the beads) snort away and loom to the sky the beads like to fall out of your nostril dont let those little buggers get away!

It's tricky to convert from oral methadone to insufflated hydromorphone (take a look at the conversion chart at the top of the forum and the bioavailability thread here) so be careful, I would not snort it all in one go - best to titrate it up and see how it is affecting you. Obviously with the methadone you will get reduced effects - you're not on what is generally considered to be a full blockade dose but it's hard to say how reduced the effects will be. Go steady just in case, you may not feel much but at the same time you are taking a strong opioid on top of another opioid and you don't want to risk overdosing.
