Two weeks ago today 29-year-old Andrew Cooke went to a party in north east London from which he has yet to return. For his parents Pat and Graham and sister Jenny the last two weeks have been torture. Here, Andrew's parents give KATE JACKSON an insight into the trauma which hits a family when someone vanishes.
There have been suggestions from friends that Andrew — who has a tattoo on his right arm which is similar to the letter T with dots next to it, and a pierced left nostril in which he wears a small white metal stud — may have taken legal high Methoxetamine, nicknamed MXE, which may have affected his memory.

Horrible when this happens, hope for his family's sake that he turns up.

I was going to go to that party but then was too tired after work. I've been following the campaign on facebook since it began though and this is the first I've heard about him having taken MXE. All people said on the FB group was that he didn't seem very sober, no one mentioned anything specific. Is The Sun putting two and two together and getting five?

Yes he was possibly high on heroin, coke, meow meow and mxe (there's just no evidence suggesting so)
