Oxycodone brand question

Hi all. I've been getting prescribed oxycodone for the past several months and they were always blue-ish in color and had a A 214 OR 215 marking on them. Now, my latest script is a blue-ish almost white color and has the letter M on one side.

I just started taking my new script today and have yet to really form an opinion on whether there is a difference. Has anyone here experienced one or both of these brands and have an opinion if one is better than the other?
 
people will say oxy is oxy, but in my opinion it's like comparing aquafina to evian or something.

I can definitely tell a difference and I think I read once that they are allowed to be within a certain

minimum of the active ingredient in the medicine...
 
no sure about oxy but i know you can tell the difference in different adderall brands so i would think there would be with an drug. but again i've only had one brand of oxy
 
I've ingested most all the brands. the A-215, M-30, V-4812, K-9, the old ETH-446 and others. I take them orally, they are all the same to me. I don't understand why people say this one is better, they all have to be FDA approved.
 
Good to hear.

I don't think I've notice much difference as of yet. They appear to be bigger than the ones that had the A214 marking.
 
I can totally tell the difference... I have had three different kinds, I like the "blues" the best by far. I really don't like the light blue almost white ones. It makes no sense because tehnically oxy is oxy, but the only thing I can come up with is that maybe different binders and fillers react differently in different people.
 
If i'm not mistaken, we're not supposed to discuss/compare brand name vs. Generic drugs.

Oxycodone is oxycodone is oxycodone.

The only differences in formulations is if they contain another ingredient (such as APAP, like in Percocet) or are extended-release (like in OxyContin).
