Ecstasy at non-electro/techno concerts

I was hoping to take some ecstasy for a heavy metal/rock concert for a band I've had a close connection to for over 6 years. Was just wondering what experience others have of attending a concert on pills for a band that isn't your usual ecstasy music like techno or electro etc. Essentially, is it as good for a rock/metal band that you absolutely love as it is for your usual techno?

I personally love metal.. What I'd advise is that you keep a close eye on your hydration. It can get pretty sweaty in the pit. I haven't taken E at a metal show but I'm sure you'll love it if you're comfortable with the setting.

I'm not sure how metal (wall of death, fight circles etc etc) would go down with the empathetic qualities of MDMA. MDMA is usually about peace and acceptance not fucking people up, I'd like to know how it went if you do roll at said concert though.

P.S. Aren't metal concerts more of an amphetamines sort of thing? :P

I like a decent amount of metal and I would personally hate rolling at a metal show. Too chaotic for me. I just stick to smoking pot at those shows.

I personally think it make anything way better, but i dont like metal and it wouldnt be for me.

yeah at some of the raves here people start mosh pits, and you just see everyone who is wearing sunglasses, has a bottle of water, massive pupils or a powerful gurn just back away. it's confusing as fuck, one minute im there feeling like i love everyone and everyone loves me, and then cunts are fucking each other up. where is the love?

I'd do cocaine for metal shows tbh. I've done MD at a metal show before and it was okay, but not great. Too many scary people to go hugging.

Just to clarify, I'm asking this for a Marilyn Manson concert that is coming up and I'm not going to be near the mosh pits haha.

Not sure if he is the same as he was back in the mid 90's(still getting naked on stage and stabbing himself with drumstick ala Iggy pop?) but i'm sure it will definitely be an experience lol

Hello guys. Idk if anyone will see this but oh well. I am going to a tech nine concert in a few weeks and i was wondering what you guys thought about taking some ecstasy. It will be my first time if i do. I have done other substances so i am, i believe sufficiently prepared. I have also studied a lot about ecstasy the past 6 months and i know i am ready. I just didnt know if this would be the right setting for a forst time woth this beautiful drug. I dont want to ruin my first experience. Any thoughts?

If you enjoy the music sober, then it'd probably be fun on MDMA. However, can't help but think that a few people could easily ruin the vibes. I've had people at raves ruining the vibe by just being cuntish, could definitely see this happening in an environment of people not rolling. Set & setting is a big deal, but if you don't think that'd phaze you, then go for it.

As said, I think overall vibe is important. You make like the music on E, but there's not much PLUR at metal concerts..the one I did go to I did see alot of meth.. If that's your thing. IMO save your mdma for moments were you can utilize the molecule to its fullest potential.

MDMA is a extroverting love drug.
Metal is a hatred promoting, self centered, powerful genre of music.
Going to a metal concert on MDMA would not be a comfortable expereince at all, you'll be like a gay guy in a anti-gay rally.

Depends on what kind of metal band it is, I guess. Plenty of people tripping and/or at Tool, but probably not so many at more traditional metal concerts. I am not all that familiar with Marilyn Manson, but I get the idea that it might not be the optimal place to roll. Take that with a grain of salt though. As, others have said, amphetamines and weed seem to be more appropriate for most metal gigs.

Too hardcore. Those concerts are more for the upper drugs. Speed, coke, ice, etc. The crowd is waaay different too--just completely different crowds. I would imagine just the crowd, vibes, would just kill my roll.
