Best Anti-Histamine for Poppy Pod Tea

I frueqently make myself poppy poptea but it gives me pretty bad itches.

I have some Diphenhydramine 50 mg tabs and also some Chlorphenamine maleate 4mg tabs.

Would these be any good or not?

Yeah, just don't over do them.
Also, promethazine is good and great for relieving nausea at some of those higher doses.
 
Diphenydramine is good, but don't do more than about 100mg a day. Some of the 2nd-gen antihistamines don't have the same side effects, so you can take much higher doses, keep an eye out for stuff like Cetirizine, Loratadine.
 
As I've read on here, poppy tea works on far too many receptors to be able to "properly" target an enzyme to inhibit. You're probably better off doing nothing in this regard.
 
I love those itches. Just sucks when you're at work or around family....or on a date. A bit awkward for me, not sure about her.
 
Diphenhydramine and hydroxyzine are most commonly used from what I gather, I myself prefer to use doxylamine. Any of them should work just fine, really.
