It's worth a shot: Ask your doctor to write on the prescription: "Oxycodone ER **mg Tablets, Do Not Substitute" If there is a box on his RX pad like there is at my Dr's check the box marked "do not substitute". Be sure to call your pharmacy too.
Back when I was prescribed the oldschool OC for chronic pain, this worked even after the OP's had taken over the market. I'm pretty sure this still works to get the OC's we know and love, although it may depend on your area.
