...which would you choose?

Marquis or Mandelin?

I'm thinking that Mandelin might be more useful as it detects PMA?
 
Marquis for sure, mandelin isnt even used by most people.

PMMA is rare as fuck, you really need to detect it? If your marquis doesnt react, then dont take it lol.


Just get a marquis if your only gonna get one, you should only be taking shit thats going straight purp/black
 
Darksidesam loves to ride the ketamine ocean though. And because that ocean is quite dry at the moment, people will try shifting stuff that isn't k and say it's k.

My thinking was that PMA is the one thing that will actually kill you rather than just give you bad night.
 
PMMA & PMA has killed several people in Canada over the past few months, and yes the risk of dying after taking PMMA or PMA is much higher than other substances. So if you are looking to only detect PMMA or PMA or Ketamine then the Mandelin kit is the best for those substances.

Yes, but PMMA has no reaction on the marquis, so why the hell would you take it?

They caught the guy who was supplying that shit, to my knowledge it isnt around much anymore. Are you in Canada?


If your so worried about it I would just get both, but having a mandelin without a marquis is going to fuck you over
 
i realised today my mandelin test kit has gone bad. had It like errr (i cant even count the months) Lol

Like 8 months, its had a long life really.

Not sure what you mean? PMA shows up as red on Mandelin, MDMA as dark blue so if the test comes up red then obviously you don't take it. However I imagine the dark blue might drown out a small bit of PMA thus rendering the test pretty useless.

No no no, if you test PMMA with a marquis it shouldnt react, then you dont take it, and the PMMA problem is gone lol...

the marquis just tests for a way wider variety of things
 
Yeah but what the deadly pills have is a mix of MDMA and PMA so that the Marquis DOES react but doesn't show you the PMA. Whether the Mandelin does, I don't know.
 
You can still tell if an MDMA sample has a piperazine/other non reactive cut with a marquis, but I will give you that its a lot harder to tell, it takes some practice...

Once again, if your so worried about PMMA, get both. With a mandelin your going to get no reaction a LOT more, and remember these reagents can be used to check other drugs, not just ecstasy
 
Marquis is by far the best single bottle tester and I would recommend it over everything else.

The main reason is Marquis is good at detecting speed which is a common adulterant and can make quite a few people feel ill. Mecke on the the other hand is good at detecting Ketamine and I really don't know anyone who would turn it down?

Also with a marquis you can even detect the combination pills (MDxx + Piperazine etc).
 
With either kit, if you get weird reactions that doesn't indicate MDMA just don't take it. I know that Ketamine can rock, but keep in mind that a very light ORAL dose is like .6 mg per pound of body weight, and if you test your pill and it tests super high for MDMA look at the weight of the pill. I have seen people claim that their mints have K in them, well the pill is only 2mm by 6mm tiny little suckers and they contain (sadly) 100mg of MDMA and MDA, there's just no room for K but people insist they have it.
I'm just saying do you think that is seems practical to add K to a pill when the common oral dose is like 200mg, but only like 40 or 50mg if you snort it? When you consider the dose of Ketamine required to feel anything in pill form, it's unlikely that chemists will add it to pills.

Any discrepancy in reaction with either kit can indicate that there is something fishy here, like flashing other colors before the money color. But seriously, in the US, I have found that generally if it tests to be any real at all MDxx then it is all systems go a good roll. Most adulterated rolls don't test for any MDxx at all.
 
Marquis all the way. It has treated me very well. I believe if you are purchasing reagents you might as well go for the full one and get the mecke, marquis and both simons. If you only order one reagent its around 25 bucks but for the full shabang its around $55 delivered. Sometimes i only bring my mecke and marquis with me so i dont have to carry the extra two simons bottles. If the sample tests well with both the mecke and marquis im good to go. Im confident i can distinguish mdma from mda in this time in my life. if i only could bring one itd be the marquis though. :)
