It's difficult with Heroin addicts as we usually tend to look Younger than we actually are .

It happened one night whilst riding my bike with no lights and no helmet (have since rectified the lights) and came out from behind a bus only to be shunted onto the road by a car from the side.

All better now and I have a nice scar on my lip to look all tough like.

Being a cyclist is tough especially in this country .

I'm a cyclist and to keep from ending up like you i have to break the rules .
Drivers don't give a shit about us .
In Copenhagen they got it sorted also i was in Valencia last year another really bike freindly city.
I take it your gonna get back on the bike ?

It's cause H addicts don't get the middle age spread that happens to most 'normal' folk..... Well. That's my theory anyhow.

A guy I met in rehab was no exception.

Everyone could've sworn he was in his early 20's at the most.
He turned out to be nearly 40.

Was seriously unbelievable.
 
'course I'm back on me bike, got on it as soon as I could. Couldn't get the thought of crashing out of my mind for a couple of weeks but it's all gone now. The drivers round here really are shits to cyclists like you say. There seems to be a real hatred of us - could be because so many jump red lights and cycle all over the pavement but getting abit off topic now, apologies.

Good to hear mate .
I know where you live n woulda thought it 2 be a cycle freindly place mind where i'm from is supposed to be as well.
It's not at all. The only saving grace is that we have a river cycle path that is proper great for getting from one side to the other of the city.
Problems start when you want to south or north ( I live in a valley ) then you have no protection n big hills.
IMO we have to jump lights n kerbs for our own safety some times .

there was a rave type thing on called "the magic hatstand", big sound rig, cheap entry, pumping house music and hip hop etc, bassy as fuck. everybody spangled, drunk and the like. excellent loved up atmosphere, lasers, strobes etc. they have random hats and things stuck to the wall and pots of glitter, its fucking mental, everybody ends up a glittery gurning mess, sounds a bit poncey but when your off your nut its surreal and beautiful

Sounds a wee bit like hell to me but it's far better than my original thought. I thought you'd went out with that hat on lol.
 
nah. hardly wear hats, although sometimes i do go on wild wide eyed adventures wearing one of these fuckers

usually to freepartys and things though. or sometimes on MXE i feel the need to wear it, not sure why. although it helps me swim through the fine fibres of carpets
 
I love this thread but don't really want my face up on a public drugs (HR) forum hehe.. but here is a pic of me in my new fave dress, before I went out (and failed to get in as wouldn't find my ID.. headliner pulled out, saved money and still made it to the afterparty though :D )
