I'm utterly convinced 95% of all acid around here is an RC. Any way I can know without having to ingest it? Sorry if this has already been answered : (

* LSD takes around 30 minutes to kick in and lasts 8-12 hours, while DOx takes at least an hour to come up and can last for 16 hours or more. (You'll have to ask someone who's already tried the blotters in question of course)
* DOx doses are larger than LSD doses, so they will be cut into bigger squares, possibly on thicker paper (even construction paper). Or they'll be smaller, but you'll be told you need to take at least 2 or 3 hits to feel anything.

I think other than having it tested in a lab this is the best you can do.

Taste, duration and in the case of DOC, the mental depth of the trip. Onset of DOC takes 2+ hours so of course theres another factor.

Interestingly, all the LSD I've ever been sold on blotter (12 to 15 times), is either LSD or effectively an inactive chemical. As far as I'm aware, I've never had a DOx compound sold as LSD. I'd have known about it if I had, given the incredible-ness of DOC, which I actually prefer to LSD tbh. (can't say anything for the others, DOM, DOI, DOB, DOET etc).

I'm in the UK by the way.

This is unfortunately the situation in most countries now it seems. The last "acid" blotter I took turned out to be DOB. Absolutely horrible stuff. DOB also had a comeup that wasn't too different from acid, but once the effects developed, it was crystal clear it wasn't LSD.

There really is no way to tell what a blotter contains unless you test it in a lab or get it from an extremely reliable source (almost directly from a lab). Otherwise, without ingesting it, you can't know.

Once ingested, indicators of it being something else than acid is a bitter or metallic taste and a slower comeup. Acid can be felt in 15-20 minutes.

This is true, but I think most of the fake blotter (and liquid) going around is more likely to be from the nbome series than DOx. nbome doses are so similar to LSD the blotter is generally the same size and the duration is very similar to LSD as well.

I find that hard to believe since NBOMEs aren't active orally
And the only times I tried acid I got some bunk shit the first time and the second time it was something with a three hour come up that made me feel extremely dysphoric for like 12 hours
I just want to find the real thing so bad without having to put it in my system to find out if it was real or not

Does DOx fluoresce under a blacklight? I know my LSD blotter did when I had 'em.

It's more than fine to list the differences between DOX so that you may be aware of that and take it into consideration but other than that there is no way this isn't an ID thread which is against the rules so I will have to close this. Feel free to use the search engine to find plenty of bits of personal information with sketchy un-ID'ed blotters, but keep in mind that all is anecdotal info and we cannot help you determine conclusively what's in your product.
