So I've been chatting with someone online for a while now, and we seem to get along great. Recently we suggested meeting each other in a dream, or lucid state. We've never met before and live kinda far from each other. We have a place in mind to meet and planned out further details. I've heard from some people that the best way to meet a person is through deep meditation before bed. My uncle has tried it with success. While at a hotel he arranged a meet with a friend in a particular room, and they met in their dreams. I'm wondering if anyone has had an experience where you've met a person who has also met you, in each others dreams. What was it like? Ive googled a bit and gone on youtube but haven't found too much, one article seemed interesting though:

Would anyone have advice or suggestions on how to do this? Has anyone done it themselves?

Hz interpret
color resonance of a particular individual
ssstrong sense each others senses and of all else in all direction
many personal elemental considerations to acquire from the both of you
acquired in an alchemical state as well
unique planetary astrological aspects should be considered also -
time- is only an essence...

there is a lot from many cultures, so its worth learning which you each connect with maybe - the moon is a nice reflector of different things-hehe.

there is a science process to this, it seems.

It isn't really the same thing but when I was about 8 I had a recurring dream with a red haired lady and the dream used to disturb me though for the life of me I can't remember why.I finally decided to have it out with the woman. Each evening before bed I would concentrate on what I would say.It only took 3 nights and I was finally able to do it. So,yes you can consciously direct dreams though it isn't the same as what you desire, actually sharing a mutual experience. I don't believe that would be possible but then again I don't put much stock in Lucid Dreaming.

I would approach it as something to do for fun. Maybe you will get some interesting results. Agree with her to try it every night for a week. Having a place that you are both familiar with might help. Then, every night before you go to bed, concentrate on meeting her (there). Keep a notebook and pencil beside your bed, and in the morning write down/sketch what happened and what you saw. Compare notes with her the next day.

That's crazy, I never realized you can do something like that.. but then again, anything's possible I suppose. I think a little bit of melatonin may help oneself in trying to reach this goal. Melatonin makes me have absolutely intensely vivid dreams, that aren't usually all that bad, but just straight up strange. Some nights I get afraid to even take the pill because I know the potential it can release once you're asleep. So IMO, I believe that this can help you out. Take a pill, think about your dream's destiny aggressively before sleep and hopefully all goes well.

Ok, so we've been seeing each other in our dreams but haven't met up in the exact same dream yet. I guess that's a good thing so far but we'll just have to keep trying.

I'd love to try this. Never really thought it could be possible though unless you knew the person in their physical form to know emotions etc.

My brother and I have attempted it with no success, I've let other friends know but none of them seem too enthusiastic to try it :\

I lucid dream all the time and I've been pondering the idea that dream characters are actually real people that happen to be dreaming too. When I run into friends in dreams, I try to make them become lucid. It never works. They really are just dream characters. If shared dreams is possible (which I have reason to believe it is) then a major obstacle in meeting people in dreams would be determining if the person is actually real or just a dream character. The brain creates very deceptive illusions.

I'd love to try it with you, but I'd probably subject you to horrors you can not even conceive.

Horrors like this?

Imagine the crazy things we could do if we could share dreams. For one we could have lucid brawls. I've been kicking the crap out of dream characters with these Liu Kang bicycle kicks:

^^ at 1:35 you see it in action
I reckon I'd do some serious damage to real lucid dreamers with them. I had a dream a while ago where I pulled one of those kicks but it was in slow motion for some reason and the dream characters were running away in terror as I flew towards them. I can't blame them, I was making the sound and all, it must have been pretty horrifying lol. For months I was getting terrorised by a dream character that looked like Carrot Top. I often wondered if that was actually a real lucid dreamer. Some DCs are tough but this one was invincible. Well thats not true, I crept up on him with a shotgun in one dream and killed him. If sharing dreams is possible then I'd become like Freddy Krugger and start terrorising people in their own dreams.

I do believe it is possible for I think in a lucid dream you yourself are your conscious mind and everything/everyone else is your subconscious or it's everyone in the world's subconscious.... here I'll copy/paste two posts from another topic because I believe you all need to read this now...

Mmm dude the pyramids are over certain spots to control/re-direct earths magnetic field weakening the good energy earth can give off to everyone and it is focused towards some power hungry fucker. Also have you ever lucid dreamed? I mastered lucid dreaming awhile ago and then gave it up for drug abuse for awhile. (drug abuse inhibits REM sleep, REM sleep being the most valuable time for becoming lucid and gaining MASSIVE control.) When I first started lucid dreaming my base instincts took over and I would just have sex with the first sexy lady, and INSTANTLY when I'd touch her I'd wake up and cum all over. That was the first few times... more control equaled me being able to have lucid sex in my dreams for many mins but when I'd reach the point of dream orgasm I'd wake up from getting too excited and I'd be on the verge of orgasm irl; at this point I could hold it in or release. After gaining more control and focus I was able to orgasm inside of the lucid dream, wake myself up and realize that I didn't even cum irl yet I experienced a pleasure far greater than even IV'd methamphetamine .25grams. Then I gained even more control&focus abilities and was able to not only materialize any girl out of thin air in front of me, but I could simple sit down anywhere in the dream and rub my body and concentrate on that orgasmic energy and I was able to hold an orgasm feeling for many dream moments that was greater than any Drug or sex irl ever. Nothing has come close. Haha wow I always wanted to type that shit out on here but I thought I was going to make my own thread for it but fuck it I only had the motivation now, oh well here's how it relates! Lucid dreams I could do ANYTHING I could imagine eventually. And if that is possible than I figure why the fuck can't it be possible to do in "reality"? At least at some point in space & time or some other dimension or maybe if some more fucking energy was able to flow around this earth as I hope it will soon. AMEN.

Dude I know I haven't slept in a few days, here man read this website http://www.librarising.com/default.html

Also I know advanced lucid dreaming techniques such as when you start to awaken from a lucid dream you lose all five senses one at a time, first is vision then the others in a certain order I forget now. BUT if you want to lucid dream forever.... as soon as your vision starts to black out during the dream you crouch to the ground and rub your hands on the floor and concentrate and feel the texture of it and remember what the area you were in looked like... then suddenly it will all come back into view and you'll be able to continue dreaming. I've done that before multiple times and have had lucid dreams for hours at a time before.

Also! the two best ways to gain the ability to go lucid I have found is to CONSTANTLY do reality checks. Such as you question yourself every 10mins and say "am I dreaming atm?" and then try to push your right finger through your left hand, and you must REALLY believe that you are dreaming and really believe that it will go through your hand. And it still won't because you are awake still; but since you did it every 10mins during your waking hours when you actually ARE dreaming you will try the same Reality check every 10mins and find that wow, when u really believe in it and try again during your dream suddenly your finger will pass right through your hand and you'll suddenly gain the lucidity awareness and be able to do anything you can imagine. Still if your focus & control level is low the best thing to do is constantly rub your hands together and concentrate on the feeling of it and say to yourself FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS, this will increase the vividness of the dream and your control level. Shit some lucid dreams I've had my control was so low I couldn't even stand up, I was constantly falling over on the floor and blacking out.

Anyways the 2nd best technique is to write down ALL your dreams & lucid dreams asap when you awaken. For every moment you are awake you lose memories of your previous dream. Those are precious moments and when you write them down even if you forget ALL of the dream later that day as SOON as you re-read what you wrote earlier you'll remember all the details in vividness! I found it's best to re-read as many dreams as you can right before you go to sleep at night in order to prep your memory and gain focus.

Well shit their is a third technique that I'll lay down upon you fuckers; thank me later. Whenever I did this about 4 out of 5 times I would go lucid. You set your alarm clock for I think it was 4 1/2 hours or 5 1/2 hours after you plan on going to bed. This is so you will awaken right as your about to enter REM sleep based on your internal clock that is always ticking even as you're awake. So when your alarm wakes you up you stay awake for ONE hour and do something that doesn't make you too alert but just alert enough such as watching a TV show. Then you go back to bed. This is the best way to go straight from a waking state into lucidity!!

It's intense as FUCK, what happens is you can literally FEEL yourself gaining sleep paralysis and right after you'll see a vision come in front of your blackness of your eyelids and suddenly you're inside the vision and you're lucid BAM mother fucker! Straight up this is some dense knowledge & it's the truth, I only speak the truth now a days so listen well.

When your mind sends a signal to your body to move a limb in any way; that is simply a test it is given to see if you're unaware enough to be given sleep, so you see in order to go straight into lucidity and gain the paralysis you must RESIST all forms & signs that your mind says to change body positions; no matter if it's the hardest itch you need to scratch feeling.... truth! fucking A I DXM. Oh yeah and I you!!

Obviously you're not going to meet them, or have any actual connection with them. But it could be a helpful exercise, in that you project what you expect of him, and vice versa. Plus once you actually meet, it'll help from a social perspective, in that you'll already feel as though you know each other and are connected.
