Opioids No tolerance plugging dilaudid dose?

Hey BL buds. :) Getting an 8mg dilaudid soon, thinking about plugging since I don't want to start IVing and snorting seems like a waste. If I usually chomp 15-20mg oxy for a satisfying high (meaning I get nauseous after 20mg) how much hydromorphone could I safely plug? Also anyone have anything to say about snorting vs plugging? Thanks guys
 
i would say about 5mg plugged would equal near 20mg oxycodone. there are many charts and threads on this. i may be wrong but this is from personal experience.
 
Thanks rob :D the conversion charts are kinda hard to read for converting oral oxy to plugged dilaudid w/no tolerance but Ill try to get 2 doses out of the 8mgs
 
I would start off with 2mg to be on the safe side, you can always work your way up. Hydromorphone is an incredibly potent opioid, and 5mg is too high of a dose to start off with, especially of you only use opioids occasionally. When I was in the hospital this fall, they were giving me 2mg intramuscular shots of dilaudid, and it took more than just the pain away. I had been taking 8mg of suboxone too, prior to admission, just to give you an idea of the potency of hydromorphone.
 
^Oh wow okay, yeah better safe than sorry. To think I could squeeze 4 doses out of this one pill... damn =D
 
B.A. of plugged Hydromorphone is 30-50%.

HM is 6-8x stronger than oxycodone

Oxycodone has an oral B.A. of 90+%.

so, 20mg of oxy (assume full B.A. for ease of use) / 6 = 3.2 mg

3mg of HM / .5 (assuming high ba) is 6mg of plugged HM.

so, try 6mg plugged.
 
thanks muvolution. that is what i thought too. OP, you can split it into 2 doses at 4 mgs each if you would prefer that.
as for the snorting, plugging will yield better results.
 
Appreciate that muvolution, seems I'll start with 4mg and see. Even just 2 doses out of one pill would be great :)
