So my sister is angry 24/7 always looking for a fight and its hard to avoid considering she lives in the same house with me. Her attitude is really starting to get to me and i usually just sit there and ignore her but i just cant help it anymore. She really does get on my nerves but mostly what gets me mad the most is how she fights with everyone else in my family. I dont want her making them mad as well. Everyday she yells at my mom and it really pisses me off.

I'm trying to not let it get to me but i dont know what to do. This is making me angry inside everyday.

What would you do in situations like this where there are people like this you cant avoid?

I try really hard to make my life as peaceful as possible and i dont understand why people yell because it never does any good. But i cant do this with my sister living in the same house

I heard a buddhist say the right way to deal with anyone is to embrace an "i'm going to take care of you, you have nothing to worry about" attitude no matter what. He said it is buddhist suicide to let your own fears control the situation. He said to view anyone who is all up in your face as walking death more afraid of themself than of you.

I read in a self-defense book that most confrontations are started not because the assailant wants to attack you but because they want to attack their own problems they project onto you. Why not ask your sister why she's so angry.

um.. gud one Portillo. I'm not going to say that to my sis though shes beautiful even when she is angry.
She can be a bit bullish sometimes but I think unconditional love has got to be the way forward for the fat old cow.

question everything, even how the response makes you feel.

when i imagine someone breaking into my house, i usually have to imagine it being some teenagers, or someone strung out...ive seen and been both to extents.
