How much Tramadol is safe for me?

I know its hard for people to answer on a person to person basis as we are all different.

Bt i would like to to take some tramadol today and get some recreational yet safe use out of it.

I have a massive tolerance to Benzos which i have at hand and also active in my body that i guess (well i hope will increase my seizure threshold) which is something that worries me as i hear a lot about 400mg and above increases your risk of seizure whilst under the influence of Tramadol.

I usually use Oxycontin (OC) anwhere bewtween 80 - 240mg or i drink poppy tea, usually between 7-10 medium-large (what i am told are quite strong good quality pods) i usually am under the influence of Benzos, either Diazepam or Temazepam, i also take anti histamines (Diphenhydramine 50-100mg/Promethazine 50mg or Chlorphenamine about 8mg) either one of them work well for itches and increased Opiate effect.

I last used 160mg oxy on Friday and last had a poppy tea yesterday, i have plenty of Tramadol, my question is how much will i need to take for me to feel anything off the Tramadol? Im guessing a lot more than 400mg? how much bearing in mind as im using benzos (anti-convulsants) and also due to my Opiate tolerance.

I read of people taking 1000mg+ of Tramadol etc.

Any help would be much appreciated and harm reducing.

u should never take more than 400mg of tramadol because it's the seizure threshold.
any more than 400mg if uncomfortable anyway. It feels more like an antidepressant than an opiate because it's also an SNRI as well as an opioid. I liked to take about 200mg. any more it was to stimulating.
it feels kind of like mdma actually.
u also get more of the opiod properties if u spread the doses apart.
100mg every hr until uve used the full 400mg.
 
Traditional opiate/oid tolerance does not raise tolerance of tramadol. Over 400mg can still give you a seizure.
 
Tramadol isn't an exactly a drug for someone with that big of a tolerance. If anything you might add it to a lower dose pf something else.

Granted I've been on tramadol for a year now, there was one day I couldn't get my pain anywhere near manageable and ended up dosing 200mgs every 4 hours and took 1200mg in 24 hours. I recommend this to no one. At the time, I was hurting enough to make me not give a shit about having a seizure. If you get to the point to where you just want to get fucked up so bad that you don't care if you have a seizure than you definitely need to consider some NA groups. For HR purposes, don't take more than 400mgs in a day. I got lucky and have a high tolerance to the drug in question. I also take gabapentin so that was helping in keeping seizures at bay.

That's my 2 cents.
 
Most sites seem to say 400mgs in "a day" which is really more like means there must be come lee way in it, if I go to bed at 12 and I've already taken 300mgs and get up at 6 and take another 200mgs, its clearly a guideline and tolerance may well have an impact as well as your initial potential for siezures and other meds. Clearly if you are taking benzos the risk is lower, but it sounds like one you need to be careful with
