Haha I love the way the country stops after a few inches of snow, is pretty hilarious :D
 
It ain't much snow about over my way effie in other news i'm gonna take some opiates n benzos have some porridge n tea watch match of the day then gouch out in front of the cricket.

I can hear the Dawn chorus:)

morning all,no snow over here as its 10 degrees i reckon.didnt have much sleep as went to bed about 4 and up at 8 with my son,who had a nappy from hell waiting on his dad.

it was dirty from his knees to his neck almost.got a cup of tea into me but dont fancy any food yet.
 
Suns out n all the snows gone leaving the dreaded ICe can't stand the Ice i might end up on my arse cos my balance ain't the best what with my leg n all .

Still gonna get me some fresh air for the day .

I'm off sledging with my daughter (9), not looking forward to the cold though really feel on these meds but bit has to be done and i get to take the landy out in the snow which is an added bonus !

Had a lovely 2 hour walk on the moor this morning with me son and me twat of a dog. No snow, lots of isolated ice patches and frozen streams like glaciers for us to piss about on, bright sun and blue skies....and found a big flock of Dartmoor ponies to fuss too.

Perfect Sunday morning.
 
Oh what a night. Was supposed to stay in and sleep last night after not doing so the previous one but temptation (and beer) got the better of me and went off to a birthday party in a bar with an English guy who lives here and knows the local owners. Great fun, live thai music, hot thai students everywhere, drinking rum straight from the bottle on the street and still only spending 6 quid by the end of the night. Then when it closed we went off to Koashan road, the scummy backpacker area, and drank beer in the streets having banter with pros, tuk tuk drivers and ladyboys for a few hours. Ended up going to my bed about 9am having not slept for far too long. Valium down the neck and slept till 6pm. Just had curry for breakfast and I'm raring to go. Got a load of options for tonight but thinking a day off the bevie might be a good idea and make some plans to go to the beaches. English bloke is a tour operator out here and knows a few small islands that aren't overly touristy and said I can join him camping in this national park island where you can snorkel direct off the beach amongst coral reef and fish and the boat people who have no legal home or residency sail about catching fish and crabs. Could be well interesting.
