I was wondering if steroids would be beneficial in healing my rotator cuff to avoid getting surgery. I've dislocated the same shoulder about 10 times and im looking for other options. Has anyone ever had experience with this or similar injuries?
Thanks for the information. The reason I was wondering about it was because the surgery isnt a guaranteed fix but surgery combined with strengthening of the surrounding muscles I should be good.
thanks for the input everyone. im due to get surgery in april and after im done healing and rehabing ill plan on possibly using aas to strengthen the muscles. ive heard on here that some steroids are better for joints and some are worse. i was wondering which ones are good for joints and what makes them better than other?
I've remember reading an article in Muscle Development saying Decca made your joints worse after ceasing use. Suck on those marbles.
If surgery has been brought up and you have had problems with this in the past then anabolic steroids would be of no use to heal that injury. Surgery is needed to fix it. Anabolic steroids could be used after surgery however to strengthen muscle and increase RBC, which would promote faster healing.
Doctors sometimes prescribe anabolic steroids for severe injuries or conditions in order to preserve muscle and promote tissue growth but typically only cancer patients, burn victims, sick elderly people, and AIDs/HIV positive individuals get prescriptions for substantial amounts of anabolic steroids. HGH is prescribed to to the previous types of people I mentioned or young individuals with thyroid problems and growth issues. It does a great job regenerating joint tissue, tendons, cartilage, increasing bone density, and healing injuries.
You could easily get a prescription for anabolic steroids if you are diagnosed with low testosterone or very old and at the point where your body doesn't produce enough testosterone. HGH can be obtained as well at an ant-aging treatment when you are older if you meet certain criteria. However, the doses you would be taking would be nowhere near any bodybuilding doses. They are minimum effective doses.
The only steroid you would probably be prescribed for this injury is cortisone, which I must mention is not an anabolic steroid. Cortisone suppresses the immune system, thus reducing inflammation and attendant pain and swelling at the site of the injury.

Thank you. Cooincidentially I just posted in another forum requesting that they ban me due to their juvinile, condesending, and grandios replies after only making like 3 posts there (and I have been on various boards for 15 years or more). One reason I love this place is that it is tolerant, mature, and the mods have the ability to use reason over arbitrary standards without reason.
Thanks again for being part of a team of mods on a great board bro!
