I don't have health insurance..Anyone experienced with possible banging side effects?

Well let's see here it started much longer ago than it did now and I'm not sure if this is irrelevant or not:

About 4 months ago I shared a needle.
About a month ina half ago I got a slight rash on my face that were scabs but popped up randomly and weeped. I hydrogen peroxided the hell out of them and they went away.
Yesterday I noticed the same sort of scab on my wrist but it wasn't weeping and my left arm sort of ached. Underneath my skin near the mark there are little red dots that sometimes connect with eachother, but they're so faint it looks like nothing to people I ask.
Tonight as in now this slight red dots under my skin have spread about halfway to my elbow yet do not itch and have no feeling to them. My skin is not raised it is all hidden under.
I'm not exactly sure how to to take this and wonder if I should scrape some money and figure it out now or not? I have no other side effects to my body that I am aware of.

I just don't know what to think I quit banging and drugs in general for the most part and have been clean and I can't tell if I'm being bit in the ass for my actions, anyone have a clue?
 
If you are that worried about it go see a doctor. The visit will be under 100 bucks probably anyway And if they tell you it's nothing to be worried about,you'll have your mind at ease... waiting will only make the problem worse.

^^^That was my gut reaction before I read Z negative's post. The only reason that I don't think it would be an infection like staph is because he's had it so long with no other bad effects. You'll meet quite a few people who have or have had MRSA in jail, and they tend to get dots and other shit like you're describing.

Only a doctor can give you relevant information on this though.
 
Yeah there are two different staphs I found on Wikipedia that effect the skin:Impetigo, and Scalded Skin Syndrome.
But like you said Kief' they all manifest rather quickly. It's entirely possible that the OP caught so,etching like this from another source though. I think people can tend to get paranoid when they share needles (I kow I did, and one should feel paranoid), and I think sometimes theyll attribute any anomaly they experience to sharing a needle, since that is one of the most taboo things you can do in the west, short of murdering your grandparents.

OP, has there been any further development?
 
Seems like a stress reaction or allergy. Typically staff manifests and continues to get worse without treatment, You say its been over a month. Typically only allergies and stress produce such varied symptoms for such a prolonged period. Either way I would get a blood test to make sure. Chill out and just get it done at a free clinic.
 
This is interesting.
Assuming you're talking about shooting up when you say banging, this same thing happened to me after I did my first shot.
On my neck, back, legs, and genitalia.
It's been coming and going with varying intensity for the last eight months.
I don't have health insurance either, so yeah.
If you check this again and find out anything I'd be very interested in hearing what it is.

(also, the comment about moving this to Other Drugs where they know a little more about why the scabs are there is hilarious despite being somewhat offensive)
 
sounds like it could be fungal... prolly nothing to do with bangin, or staph. ive had MRSA several times very severe infections and have never had that symptom. if there starts to be a concentrated red area/swollen, take a permenant maker and draw a circle around the red spot. that way it gives you a benchmark to observe from. if it gets worse, or you break fever go to the er. theyll take care of ya from there.
p.s. if ya got some cipro or septra layin around, go ahead and take that as directed on bottle. that way if it is a small infection going on. you might snip it in the but like that.

p.s.s. i would put an atopical antifungal creme on the area if its not open. just in case its fungal.
