I went through 60 mL in two weeks...

Sorta binged during the first 5 days (although only once used it to sleep. Then the past week I was doing only 1-3 mL during the day and using seroquel or gabapentin for sleep. So for the past week i was off for 12-16 hours each night.

Anyway, last night I did a "let's finish it to tonight" binge.

So then I slept on 100mg seroquel and after I got outta bed I popped 150 pregabalin. Now 16 hours I is feeling a mild but noticeable dopamine heart rush and some jitteriness/ anxiety.

Is this simply a post-binge mini WD, or should hehop in his car right now and drive an hour to get a few mL for a better taper in order to avert a WD e ergency? This would be a huge inconveniwnce... Anyone know if my fears for his wellbeing are warranted?

Hi, we don't swim here, especially in GBL.

Now for your question, I wouldn't panick, if you're able to write this you're not in any real danger. Let time pass, drink water and eat well, and try to sleep. Good luck.

^This. Usage of "SWIM" is against the rules, makes your post hard to read, and does nothing to protect you legally. I have edited your post so you're using the proper pronouns.

Wow, what a spirited reassurance.

I'm still a bit scared though, atm i'm at the tail end of a pregabalon effect curve and took 400mg gabapentin ~2 hours ago, so i'm worries that it might be masking the WD onset

It's entirely possible that the gabapentin is masking the WDs, the only to know for sure is to wait for the gabapentin to wear off. There's no sure-fire way to say if you'll have an intense withdrawal or not, everybody is different.

I would recommend tapering down if at all possible, as WD from GABA drugs can be pretty bad, and can be dangerous of severe enough. If you're not able to taper down at all, it may be a good idea to speak to a doctor...

Good luck!

Not entirely. Seroquel doesn't have any GABA action.

Seroquel is pretty effective at knocking people out, but I doubt it will eliminate 100% of your WD symptoms..

There is a useful thread on GBL addiction and withdrawal in EADD here which might be of some help..

The consensus in the thread is that gabapentin or pregabalin do help with GBL withdrawals quite significantly. Tapering any GABAergic drug is always a good plan as NT said, as withdrawals can be dangerous, but tapering GBL can be tricky due to the steep dose-response curve and short duration.

If you overall haven't been dosing 24/7, apart from your binge at the end, then you may well be lucky and get away without full-blown WDs, although the fact that you use gabapentin to sleep does complicate things a little. I would see how you go - if you have pregabalin or gabapentin, I would imagine you can manage the withdrawal with those rather than getting a few more ml of GBL. However, GBL acts on your GHB and GABA-B receptors where as gabapentin/pregabalin has a more complicated (and not fully understood) mehcanism of action so they are not a direct replacement..

As with anything, if you start to feel unwell at all, seek medical attention. Good luck, I hope it goes smoothly!

you're not addicted if youve only done 60ml in two weeks. I used to dose GHB everyday for 2 - 3 months (4 doses a day) and I was able to quit cold turkey with no withdrawal symptoms (and I know what they feel like, am on methadone / benzos)
