Major part of the soundtrack to my teens. I remember having to rehearse that song ad nauseam when I was sixteen and in an angry young band because our useless lead guitarist (who was only in the band due to the fact his dad had some brilliant equipment) kept fucking up his part.

similar, but I was in my 20's. my late teens were mainly soundtracked with a Rush obsession. gave up the chance to see them for free last year. shouldve possibly gone out of nostalgia but I'm not sure I'd be up for 3 whole hours of twiddly guitars and drum solos anymore. they played 2112 in its entirety apparently

I bought pleasure death when it was released ... can't remember the name of my favourite track from it, but it had the the line, 'James Joyce is fucking my sister' on repeat ... loved it lots

The track in question was 'Potato Junkie'.

They lost it a bit after Nurse but I liked bits of Troublegum and Infernal Love. Lots of angst, which was what floated my teenage, eyeliner-wearing boat.

Mr atm - yeah, moody frontmanisms and rhythm guitar. It was around the time I was honing the exhibitionist megalomaniac streak to perfection after a fairly shy early adolescence. Things went downhill soon after.
