i was feeling pretty good today up until a few hours ago. i hung out with my friends, smoked some weed then bam around 9pm i started feeling like absolute shit. im anxious for no apparent reason and i just wanted to go home and be alone, so i did. i feel exhausted laying in bed right now with no desire to get up. im a pretty frequent oxycodone user and if you havent already guessed i used none today. im feeling a tad irritable too and i just have the urge to pick up 1 more and feel better.

in the past i have kind of felt like this before but to a lesser degree... i normally just do some more oc when i start feeling this way.

also, is it possible that my withdrawal begins around the time in the day i normally use?

I could be mistaken, in which case I'm sure someone will chime in soon to correct me, but withdrawal typically begins 24 - 36 hours after your last dose. I know that this is when I begin to experience the achiness, nausea and so forth.

I'm not sure about the anxiety bit, but if you're feeling achy, nauseous, feverish, restless and experiencing cold-sweats, shakiness, then these are all signs and symptoms of withdrawal.

It depends on the half-life, but WD can start much sooner than that. These sound like really mild opioid WD symptoms to me but they might not be WD at all, I doubt anyone can say for certain.

I think that's generally the case, but when your dosing throughout the day you're body notices when it's not getting its next fix. When I was shooting a bundle of heroin a day, I did it in a total of four shots. If I could only cop six bags, I would feel uncomfortable to say the least, but I could make it through the night, and then wake up feeling pretty shitty,

Well, there is one way to find out for sure- go cop and re-dose. If you feel fine, then it was; if symptoms still persist, you have a medical problem in conjunction with your drug problem- Huzzah!

That's not a full proof method of finding out though, because if you take opiates while experiencing the flu, you'll still feel better from the opiates.

I would try to just rough this out, it sounds like mild withdrawals for me, and consuming more oxy now will just exacerbate you're tolerance and you're withdrawals. Try and stay off it for a week, see how it goes, and if you decide to use again, limit it to once a week (if you have that power) and you won't have to worry about this type of shit

It certainly sounds like withdrawals, especially since you use oxycodone on the regular and skipped dosing it today.

You now have a couple of choices:

1) Continue taking oxycodone to chase the withdrawals away, digging yourself deeper into the opiate-hole each time.

2) Take Znegative's advice.

Withdrawal for me always made me wanna sleep constantly, staying awake at work is a bitch when i'm suffering withdrawals.

You can sleep with the RLS symptom? The RLS with bupe withdrawal would be so bad I'd want to take a hammer to my legs to make it stop, beating my legs with my fists helped a little, but the pain could never really take focus over the RLS, it's the worst sensation I think I have ever had.

Luckily i've never had it bad enough to get RLS.... i'm dreading monday as i'm officially out of everything tonight. Which means monday at work i'm gunna be yawning every 20 seconds and stuggling desperately to get through the day. After i actually manage to get myself there to begin with that is.

RTL is one of the most annoying effects of opiate withdrawl. The hot/cold flashes and the "aches" as well as axiety, insomnia just seem to hit all at once at about day 3 but by day 4 and 5 diarrhea and vomitting set in till day 7-8 and you should start to feel better cause 9 & 10 is usually just insomnia so get some lunesta or ambiean and you will feel way better. If you pm I'll tell you how to go and get a script to have no side effects really with the whole entire withdraw process.

sounds like mild withdrawal - which, if it is, means you are at a crossroads.
will you take this warning as a sign to back off, or will you surrender to addiction. if you have to ask "are these withdrawal symptoms?" then you obviously don't know how horrible they are, or what you have to go through to be free of the bind of opiate dependence.

not to lecture you, but i'm sure a lot of people wish they could have those options presented to them again - to choose not to get addicted before it is extremely painful to get out. because once you're on that ride, you're on.
you still have the chance to get away with minimal discomfort, likely your last chance. give it some thought...

whenever i am scared of opiate w/d i order and use mxe for 1-2 days and viola, i feel better.

No idea on what your habit is but I'm curious as to the extent of your usage & the extent that MXE helps.
I'm plannin on jumpin off a 3-4 year habit that at times got pretty hefty.
If you could mention your usage & to what extent MXE helps with withdrawals & what in particular it helps with.
Anyways just curious & not trying to de-rail the thread but I've heard a few things & you've piqued my curiosity.
