Zyprexa anyone else have taken it? Or taking it currently?

Thanks, I was prescribed zyprexa and supposed to take it daily but I got addicted fast. It made me chase a high I never even got from it. Really weird I kept re dosing.
I always seem to have odd side effects.
What are your side effects from Zyprex?
 
Kayla I don't mean to be rude or anything, you know i <3 your guts, I am just a little bit concerned from reading some of your threads.

You need to do a little more research on substances before consuming them perhaps.

Olanzapine ~ Zyprexa is an extremely potent atypical anti-psychotic which is in no way recreational, nor should it be particularly addiction forming.

The vast plethora of side effects from AAP's is very well documented. I know 9 months later from a long-term time spent on Thorazine, Quetiapine, Olanzapine to name a few, I STILL have mild tardive dyskinesia.

Please be careful, PM me ANY time you need. I'm nearly always about.
 
AD's are just evil, evil drugs in my experience. They really change people in weird (and often less than ideal) ways...

I was actually hospitalized when I myself was on it. :) I was not in control except to tell my doctor I want more. I have done a lot of research. I just want to know others side effects. <3

My mind is madness. I hardly make sense to outsiders but I do have a point in my own head lol

I was put on the same meds and I to suffer from mild tardive dyskinesia and I'm pissed. The had me on haldol at 14 fuckers
 
Yeah when I was 18 I was on 1000mg quetiapine, 1200mg depakote, 12mg xanax, 120mg valium, 2mg rohypnol, 20mg lexapro and a whole bunch of other AAP's as PRN.

I'm glad you have researched it then. I just wanted to voice my concern because I can't imagine anyone willingly re-dosing on zyprexa chasing a high.

I know. I wouldn't normally either. In jut wondering if it happened to someone else. If not I guess I was probably just craving a regular addiction and since I was young, I used zyprexa. Bad choices...
 
am i the only one who thinks zyprexa is good med. i take 5mg a night. ive tried higher to help me sleep it tales 6 hrs to peak

it has a very long half life of about 30hrs

maybe u should switch to seroquel it has only a half-life of 6 hrs unlike zyprexa'. so ya not effected during the day

seroquel is more sedating
 
It is a good med if you have debilitating schizophrenia, psychosis or in some cases bi-polar.

Otherwise the best way to go is nail it to a frisbee and fling it over a rainbow.

I loved zyprexa lol and it tastes great.

Se r o q u e l makes my dopamine levels fluctuate wayyyy to much. I get severe RLS and body pain for hours ew

I'm just an addict addicted to putting pills in my mouth, reason I'm clean today is because I can abuse anything.. Motrin yup....
Zyprexa helped my anxiety and helped me sleep. Problem was I liked it to. Much..

Everyone is addicted to something, just some things have a less positive look toward them. Think of all the people w/ legit benzo Rx's that RELY on them for life. Or Prozac, or anything really. We're no different, except we know what we like...

If you've got the will, and a good reason, you can do anything! :)
 
I thinknim doing pretty good. I have been clean for a year if I didn't cout the 3 relapses I had last year.... They were only a few days at a time...

I think we're smarter for getting addicted to what feels good lol jk jk
 
Well I feel at the age of 21 that I've done pretty well to get a meth, heroin, weed, benzo and acid addiction out of the way...

I guess cocaine is next?
 
I never got addicted to coke for some reason. Everyone I do it . I run out and go to sleep.... I feel like getting more or binging in coke is a waste be abuse after the first night it's never as. Good so I do it ever 6 to 8 months

I think we Gould be proud to have over come all of those already. :) <3

Everyone slips up. I haven't been clean enough to give myself a chance to relapse (8)), but I've certainly crashed a few cars and cost thousands within the last 24 months...

And hey, everyone's got their thing. We're just smart about the things we choose. ;) :p

Trips - I applaud you for being able to over come all of that. Truly.

Oh, and I'm right there w/ ya on the coke. I get a .5g for myself and that's it. Also do it like every 3-6 months (or even more of a gap - it's just a convenience purchase when I do get some).
