Help with Demerol

Last night I blew 200mg of demerol (4 50mg pills) and barely felt a thing. I dont have much tolerance for opiates, I usually do a few OC 80s a week, taking one on each occasion. From what Ive read on other posts people have apparently gotten really high off like half the dose that I took.
I have 16 of these pills left, what would be the best way to utilize them so I dont have another disappointing night like the last?

Also I have a feeling they didnt work because I had been doing stronger opiates for the three days beforehand (wed. blew oc 80, thurs. blew .05 h, fri. shot .05 h) which doesnt usually happen. If this is the case, how long should I wait before trying it again?

Opiate tolerance usually drops a fair amount after a week, so, if you want to drop any tolerance you may have, then I would wait 5-7 days. It sounds like you really dont have much of a tolerance tho, so that really should not be a factor.

Are these scripted to you? If so, I would just take them normally and if they are not working then tell your doc. (Dont say where you get them )

Maybe next time you want to try and catch a good buzz try taking the same dose orally on an empty stomach and see what happens. If your getting these from a dealer, maybe you got some bunk pills. Its a possibility.

Also, for going intranasal, always make sure you blow your nose first and get all that mucus out. I know it seems obvious but, just had to say it.

You could also try drinking some wgfj about a half hour prior as well.

Demerol pills are weak IME. After surgery my dr put me on Dem 50's, Vistaril 50 mg to potentiate and Oxy 5's. Dr even told me that they were weak, especially compared to the iv dosing, that's why he gave me the Vistaril. Don't go over board with them tho. I'd start with 50-100 mg with 50 mg DPH. Remember, be safe! You can always take an extra but you can't un-take if it's too much!

Demerol seems to just not work for some people, and as has been mentioned, opiate tolerance is to be taken into consideration here, and Demerol is pretty weak to begin with (esp. in comparison with an opiate like oxycodone).

So I could be one of these people that demerol just doesnt work for? Thats interesting... and kind of shitty.

I dont want to waste these so I guess Ill just take a shot to see if that does anything and if not Ill sell the rest.
Can anyone recommend a good starter IV dose?

If you already use drugs IV, Demerol is a good one IV. You have an opioid tolerance, but I'd recommend 100 mg as a starting dose because Demerol is different than other opioids and you will be using it IV.

Ok so after snorting.... a vicodin at age 15 and loving it I returned for summer from boarding school. Now thinking all pills were just peachy keen in comes a bottle of 90-100 50mg Demmies. Orally = shit worthless drug. Intranasally = GOLD MOTHERFUCKING GOLD. I spent a month returning home from a job as a dish washer, the worst job of my life but it was ok because I had my Demmies. Like clock work wait for parents to go to sleep, grab a really surgery soda, go downstairs to the computer, get on aim, crush up 200-250 mgs of Demerol snort and turn on Aphex Twin - Xtal. The BEST mind blowing empathic just out of this world euphoria I've ever experienced. Granted I was a newbie but nothing has ever come close. So if there is anyway you can kill you O tolerance and then rail some demerol (your nose has to get cut up before it works really well) I highly recommend it. For god sakes I cried it felt so good one night and I wish I were exaggerating. Search around google for Demerol and Euphoria the threads are hard to find but you'll see what I mean. To summarize what one said "I keep seeing all these medical professionals using pure Demerol as their drug of choice. There must be a reason."

Let's not forget Demerol is not a typical opiate, it is a fully synthetic opioid. There are other properties to this drug, and on of those properties is neurotoxicity, and maybe cardiotoxicity. It lowers the seizure threshold, and can be dangerous at higher doses or even taken in relatively low doses for extended periods. It is a good analgesic, but there really is a dose you shouldn't go above because of these risks, I am not sure of what it is, but be careful.
