ravin on the beach sounds amazing :
im a bit jealous i missed out on the holy ship however from some pictures it looked way crowded
have you heard about the beach party? that has the potential to be better than a field, especially with some breakcore on in the background :D
Anyone been to Shambala in Northamptonshire? ... Any good?
secret garden party! looks so good. anyone been? whats it like and whats it like getting party necessities in![]()

BOOM tickets ordered (I HATE PSYTRANCE)
Hopefully going to motorcycle it from Bristol
The same response as every year, for me - Download. Metallica, Prodigy, Chase and Status (which I think is a drum and bass first for Download) and Machine Head, to name the main ones. There's loads more to be added. I'd be happy to pay just to see those four. Chase and Status are the only ones I haven't seen before, but I bet they're immense, when you're in a crowd of 50+ thousand. Also wanna reach for Download. Never been and I'm not sure about the atmosphere but I gotta see 'tallica and black sabbath!

Also, Todstock. Fairly local to me. Went last year, and it's basically a load of huge tents, in a really nice park, with loads of different styles of dance/electronic music being pumped out of them. Then there was a stage for the rock acts. Spent a lot of time just sat chilling, when not dancing, without loads of people walking over me. Really pleasant (except the few scrotes that were sat with their prams, swigging booze) and free. The only thing we had to pay for was to camp in the back garden of this massive house. It had peacocks and rabbits running about, and had an Alice in Wonderland theme. We could use the toilet inside, which is a massive plus, and shelter from any rain. Loads less hassle than a mainstream festival. No security hassling you. Even the guy that owned the house was off his tits. Definitely going back. I just hope the guy doesn't ask who threw up on his lawn, because it definitely, 100% wasn't me.I'd recommend it to anyone living close (or fancying a cheap one).

I believe Pendulum played last year, also. Prodigy are a regular occurrence now, because moshers seem to love them.Todstock was so sick last year!! Free, and decent as fuck! bought some wicked pills was an awkward train back to leeds haha.
Pendulum played at Download when I went in 08, and they have an argument every year about DNB and electronic music at it every year.
Moshers went mad last year cos Modestep was playing. So would I personally lol.
