black tar question

i have a low opiate tolerance. i can take 30mg oxy and feel a good nod.
i found some tar in my area, it was sticky, expensive, and smelled like vinegar. from what i heard a .1 is supposed to feel like around 60mg oxy.
so me and my friend decided to get one balloon and split it. we decided to snort it. we dissolved it in water and put a straw in it and snorted.

we snorted it all at once. im just wondering if we wasted the tar this way.. because i didnt feel anything but what 5mg hydrocodone would do to me.
 
Snorting it probably isn't a very good ROA for tar, you'd have been better off smoking it. Otherwise, it's impossible to say how strong it's meant to be as we have no idea what the purity etc. actually is.
 
i know. but im just asking if snorting it like that is a waste. whats the Bioavailability of snorting compared to smoking?
and also im sure that most of it just dripped into my throat and went oral..

also would it be better to smoke it or plug it? i might give it another go. but i want to know whats best way to comsume it without wasting soo much.
 
I think it's because brown gear is usually freebase, so it smokes easy but doesn't dissolve well, while white gear is normally salt so it won't smoke but you can snort it. Not sure about plugging vs. smoking, plugging is probably more efficient, but with smoking you can titrate your dose a lot better, though it can be wasteful if you don't know how to chase it properly.

would plugging burn my ass? cause it smells like vinegar and i know vinegar burns alot when plugged...
 
Tar can be very effective intranasally. Must have been shite quality. Vinegar smell is 'generally' a good thing, but definitely isn't a reliable indicator of potency.
 
I wouldn't recommend plugging heroin, the times I've registered a shot, and come out of the vein only to have my veins go shit on me and end up snapping off the needle to plug rather than shoot it has been an almost total waste.

Yeah, try and vape it off foil, though it looks like the sort of gear that's for IVing (something I don't recommend)
