I thought I would ask the question if I was not the only fan here.

During my first Lsd Trip i listened to his album a new daylight and was overcome by emotion and lost for words during my time under the influence. I recently saw him live while he was here in Australia last month and the energy he has with the crowd is something else. I mean he would jump from the desk and come down and run 4-5 times back down the front row slapping hands and was constantly moving not to mention he would throw out shirts which my partner ended up receiving from him as it was the last of 3 he handed out that night not to mention meeting him after the set and getting a photo and him to sign the artwork me and my partner had drawn and waved during his set.

I first heard his music on a state of trance i believe the song was Till the sky falls down & Man on the run, i grew to love these tracks but after getting a new daylight i have come to love Waiting among the others. I must admit i'm lost for words in the character he has for his fans after recently talking to him online via his website dashberlinworld which was also a bonus.

Other songs i can't seem to stop listening to are Apollo Road & The Better Half Of Me or his 4am remix of Not Giving Up on love, never cry again, disarm yourself which happened to be filmed in my home city on his first Australian tour. His remixes or mashups are also of top quality. I love a new daylight, 100 minutes of 2011 and United Destinations!!!

Anyway ill stop my rant and hopefully can converge with some other fans! :)

They are very underrated mate...My mates went to see them at the Stereosonic afterparty in Melbourne, and as I am living in USA now it sucked not being able to see them again. As we speak I'm listening to Trance around the world and there are so many tracks that go unnoticed.

Dash Berlin are an amazing group and if you're interested listen to (Waiting-Dash Berlin 4am Mix)...in my top 10 songs of all time

^ Amazing group? Lol, cheers for the input but not really what i was after :-p

Ha! Dash berlin is one person... I saw him a few months back at Vision in Chicago. Check my report in the Live Show Review Thread and add some of your own!

My bad, I think thats an aussie saying...but yeah I understand where you are coming from, he is more than just a dj who is behind the decks. He is a performer and needless to say he does love the attention and from what I have heard he gets into every show to make it more personal to the audience.

Yeah but there are some DJs who stand behind the decks and don't seem to get into it, and other who make the night a big performance. I have been to see Armin a few times in Australia and he is always having live singers, acrobats, beachballs for the crowd to smack around and it makes the night more of an event than just a DJ behind the deck...if you get what I mean.

Dash's onstage antics are what make him unique....not like most dj's who just mix music, dash interacts with his fans and actually has fun!

I don't know man, I actually prefer when the DJ doesn't act too obnoxious while on stage, I also don't really see the point of having acrobats and beachballs at an EDM event. Personally, I like it when the DJ focuses 100% on putting on a good set. Good music + good crowd/venue beats acrobats and "pushy" special effects any day (at least in my book).

P.S. It's not too say that I don't enjoy going to larger shows with special effects, but such events have a very different feel from a more music-focused gig. :)

Dash Berlin has gotta be one of my favorite artists :\
i found this mix of his Apollo Roads and NERO's Promises called "apollo promises"
