lsd mindfuck/confusion

why does some acid tend to cause mindfuck/confusion (who am i? what am i doing? what am i supposed to do? where am i?) -on euro alex grey/ganeshas whereas other times it is clear and lucid ie euro-avatars/shivas or wow and you could easily have a conversation, complete basic tasks. any ideas?

this is under the same set and setting. and across multiple people. so its not just subjective. theres something else....

all tested + w/ehlrich =presumptive test that they are not RC as well as consistent onset, duration and effects, aside from the mindfuck..

the ganeshas gave the strongest result -dark purple whereas the clear/lucid hits gave light pink.

LSD analog? impurities? thoughts?

You might say set and setting were the same, but no two people have the same mindset as each other, and I doubt any one person had the same mindset the first time they dropped acid as the second. The chemicals in your brain are always in flux, and aren't the same from one day to the next. I've heard of people who have taken a decently large dose of MDMA while pretty depressed and felt absolutely NOTHING despite waiting months after their last fantastic MDMA experience.

The answer is brain chemistry. You're never the same as any other person (including yourself) on any other day.
 
bioavail, you are correct and i agree with what you say. however there is a clear and distinct characteristic- the mindfuck/confusion - that is not present in other blotter and was digging deep for some insight and experiences other people may have had. what im leaning toward is that its another ergoloid, i did hear rumors about it last summer so, who knows! i wish i had access to a lab/test center to find out what it really is, as it is quite psychedelic! just not the lucid and clear trips it usually gives me, the effects were consistent on 3 different occasions for myself. keep the comments coming! =D
 
I don't think i haven't experienced that, but i have a friend that had that effect from 3 gram dry shrooms..

It's not an impurity, one is obviously dosed higher than the other. Large doses of acid just do this. There are tons of studies documenting huge doses of L being given and the results are pretty similar. You become catatonic. Just take less and you'll be fine.
 
It may just be the dose then. I've smoked large amounts of weed (on multiple occasions) and experienced a very strange sort of dissociation and overall trippyness, weed's style of headfuck I guess. And on other occasions, I've just felt dumbed down, more social, euphoric, etc. The exact opposite of the dissociative state. From the same drug.

I'm not trying to dismiss the possibility that another drug could be the cause of the differences you're describing, but it certainly seems possible you could have two completely different experiences both from LSD.
 
I took 6 hits of cali wow on new years and they are 110ug per tab and experienced what was complete confusion and mindfuck threwout the whole trip i literally tripped myself stupid. Is this normal i personally think it was just due to the overall high dose. But visuals werent anything special although my tv looked absolute shit picture quality when infact was watching hd channels lol.

The different types of weed highs are from different types of cannabinoids and the Sativa (social, energetic, sometimes racy) vs Indica strains (Relaxing, sleepy, numbing/dissociative is ways).

Also strains with only THC and not other cannabinoids have a higher rate of clouded/foggy headed state (in many cases) where strains High or low in THC along with the cannabinoids CDB (Cannabidiol; Which numerous strains also have) removes the majority of memory issues with cannabis. The strains that are more "clear headed" generally have a good ratio balance of THC to CDB (even if they are not that high in either).. obviously also take a person's cannabis tolerance into consideration this equation.

Yes thank you I know a good deal about strains haha ;) I'd describe Sativa as a real "heady" high and Indica as a "stoney" high, personally.

But I've had these two different types of experiences two nights in a row off the same exact weed, so it's not just THC/CBD ratios..
