Regional Heroin Discussion v13: Points of reference

Just got back from the 2nd city, scored 2 types of gear off 2 different Asian firms.
First lot reasonably priced & a nice smoke, light tan in colour & fluffy in appearance. ( same as before xmas )

The second lot is the good ol' Scabby , Button Moon gear.... collects in a powder in the tooter.

I dont think Ive ever had decent gear that collects dry in the tooter-shitty stuff I just had formed lumps of brown solid stuff at spike of tooter then speckled brown shit further down. I always thought if it wasnt gooey and sticky then it werent no good...oh well another indicator of decent gear down the drain!

Hi Papaver son, only ever had it collect like this on this particular Scabby gear. It's real weird mate, almost like freeze dried !! However once you put a flame to it it instantly turns to a lovely brown residue, as good as the tray it's come off !

Like i say it's only ever the scabby that does it .

It just goes to show you really cannot tell how good a batch of gear is until youve tried it. People say red gears shit, and it often is but its only mannitol, and Ive had fuckin banging red gear. Its like every indicator of quality is got a contradiction now, now theyve mastered how to make bash look and behave like proper B! And fuck me, they got a lot of people fooled ay!

I asked a question a lil while ago no one answered so I'll ask again: Does heroin actually smell? I mean in the bag, in its powder/lump form. Reason I ask is cos the last shit I scored smelt just like I think decent B should, but was utter crap. So that got me wondering, is it the gear that we smell, or is it the cut or bi product that smells? That vinegary, strong smell I associate wiv decent kit might just be the smell of acetic anhydride, or quinine or whatever. Anyone know? I suppose H#4 is odourless is it?
 
Bang on with acetic anydride. I'm pretty sure that's the smell. Though it's definitely more vinegar than 'fish' as some people describe the good gear smell. The fish smell is from other shite mixing with the acetic anhydride, making it more like prawn cocktail crisps.

Real heroin smells of nothing. Not that I've ever had the pleasure.

The AA in brown is washed out it does smell of vinegra (if youve ever had tar it stinks of vinegra)Heroin does have a smell i couldnt describe it but next time you get good food smell the bag its a unique aroma. If you look up whats used to make it (its pretty fucking easy) you will see where the smell comes from but ant solvents do evaporate leaving no residual smelll. CW is odourless btw

edit; should have added the reason tar smellls like vinegra is cos the aceytilise the morphine with acetic acid and not AA

i scored in the next city tonite after my usual guy had problems with the filthy fucking pigs note to the coppers(take out the bash dealers not the good guys who only sell to the older addicts) i live between worcester,hereford,gloucester, all with in 15 miles
got 5 singles no deals . At first i thought it was not all that but soon i kept coming in and out of concienceness this was off a .3 so rather happy woke up just and the first ever episode of the wire was on sky atlantic so all in all not a bad night . Good show by the way i know kat is a fan
this was worcester city centre which is a average size city ooookkkkayyy
 
i has the light tan from worcester tonite but it was not fluffy just light brown and good looking this shooter is from the 2nd city , the boy i usually score off in glos has had dynamite for 2 days from the second city,
when you say scabby do you mean the powder stays in the middle of the beetle and melts in to 1 really slowly like old school gear did so you could have 5 runs and still you got un burned powder on the beetle. Like the good old days when you whack a block on the jimmy and you can have run after run before it all melts into 1
the shit now adays just burns into a beetle in about half a line unless you got old school ahh the good old days take me back bill and ted
 
Never really noticed this until people started posting on it... the gear i have now is like that powder and rock and the powder melts in to a beetle and the rock just runs along in the middle for 3-4 lines (these are only shots not big lumps)
 
@ 4x4 , yes son that's the 1 ! Just like the good ol' days...

@ Blondin, sounds similar mate however even if it's all powder you place on the jimmy as long as you put a decent boot on it will stay as powder for ages ! ( centre only ) This is available in weights , just double the price.
 
That last one i had was the dogs. I thought you could'nt get any better. But this new one i got last night is better. Creamy in colour and in rock form. This one is the creme de la creme. No joke.
 
it seems most people are able to score good now..... not weights.... but its better than fucking bash :) as ever 20 people will pop out and say no.

for me the 'drought' has been over for a while.
 
Not a dig at anyone but these people pretending the drought is over are having a laugh. Everyone has lighweight bash tolerance and as soon as something lands with more than 5% purity they think the drought is over. If you were scoring the kit you are now several years ago I bet you would be bitterly dissapointed.

Scored again last night, only 1+1 and the gear was not the same. Fluffy powder with the odd sparkling bit. Still better than what has been going around but still far from decent.

Ello mate...that sounds exactly like the last shit I had from near bath...and I pity u if you've had worse, cos I thought it was absolute shite. And I bought a fuckin Q of it fuck sake. Smelt nice in the bag and behaved almost perectly, tho its runs for longer than it shud and leaves a weird solid residue in the tooter. nasty

I agree the drought is far from over but if i were scoring this particular gear 3,4,even 5 yrs ago i would be extremely happy ! IMO the only difference now is yrs ago @ least 5 different firms in Brum would have had slight variations of this gear, where as now only 1 man has it ! Also he will only have it a couple of weeks tops. Plus it's doubled in £ which is a piss take really.
 
I'm hearing of 4 local(ish) reports of decent gear now. The 1 I can verify is the guy I been going to - I have to spend £50 but it keeps me fucked for ages and then I'm sleeping in bed all day till (get this) 10:30 pm cos I been up all night gouching, lol. I aint been up long.

There are 2 other users that I know saying they can get decent but like me it's in bags and expensive. The 4th report comes from a dealer himself so dunno about that one...

But we've had little blips before then it goes back to shit. IF there's good around from multiple sources then that'll bring the price down but that supply needs to be constant.

that is some good shit mate better than what im getting cause 50 quids worth wont keep me in bed 4 24 hours the stuff im doing will fuck you up nice but 12 hours later im clucking again .
it pisses me off dealers having days off cause i know 2 at the mo with decent kit 1 of them wont come out , and the other thinks he can just have a day off when he wants being a smack dealer aint a 9-5 we need it every day you wanker

Yeah, they SHOULD be on 24/7, just-come-round-the-flat-type dealers! The ones that smoke crack and are up all the time or the ones that do it in shifts. Nice and easy with no waiting, just look out for the pigs. If you're a dealer you should know that having a day off is a bit of a no-no. Sounds stupid don't it but it's true, especially if you've got regular customers.

You DON'T want the powder power tossers who tell you they're round the corner when they're watching Eastenders and have no intention of leaving until they've watched Pat die then had a pizza.

I will say 1 good thing about the drought though - all of our tolerances are way low so when anything that approaches average strength comes in it's like you're smoking real good stuff and so you get wasted! So a gradual increase in quality and a lowering in price would be ample payback for all the shit times we've all had over the last 13 months! But things'll probably just go back to shit anyway...
