I understand that 2C-H is a necessary precursor for making all other 2C's, so since it is going to be illegal soon will that mean no more 2C's get produced? I have been looking forward to the breadth of new 2C's that will surface after the ban

I'm sure the US is not the only country in the world. The 2c's will simply come from other countries, don't you think ?

yes I'm sure illegally they will still be available, I was referring to the RC market

The only 2C that you're going to run into that is made in the United States is 2C-B. That does require 2C-H as a precursor. Perhaps it will be a little bit harder to find but a competent chemist could make it from another precursor. 2C-H is a precursor for the halogenated ones (and 2C-N). That means 2C-B, C, I. 2C-D, E, P are all synthesized from a different route.

This is all moot though because 2C-C, I, and a whole host of others are also getting banned. Other ones will pop up though, I'm sure of that. There are at least three other 2Cs I can think of that I expect to pop up after the ban. And then there's still a bunch of FLYs, DOs, and other classes that have barely been explored. There will be more phenethylamine psychedelics.

I'm sure tons of 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine (2C-H) will still be around after the ban. Look at the case with 2.5-dimethoxyamphetamine (2,5-DMA), (the main precursor for the halogenated DOx compounds (DOC/DOI/DOB/Possibly DOEF)); that is as far as I'm aware, controlled in the US, yet a fair bit of these DOx compounds are being synthesised.

As another poster said, there are a number of countries outside the US who won't be banning (for the time being, anyway) 2C-H. I'm not sure whether 2,5-DMA is a united nations controlled psychotropic though.
