codeine and phenylephrine safe?

is 40 mg phenylephrine safe to take with 76mg codeine? any one know lethal dose of phenylephrine?

AFAIK you should be safe. I don't know the lethal dose of phenylephrine.

Phenylephrine: The oral LD50 values are as follows: rat, 350 mg/kg; and mouse, 120 mg/kg. The intravenous LD50 values are as follows: rat, 6.8 mg/kg; and mouse, 21 mg/kg.

i don't understand isnt 350 mg lethal dose for rats? not humans? so this means an over does for a human is more then 350 mg right? so i should be safe with 40 mg

That was provided as a point of reference, not as me saying that the rat and human LD50's are equal. ;p

You should be fine taking 40mg, though.
