What Are You Drinking? v. Free bar you say...?

Half-hearted sips of Tullamore Dew. I started it last night and I'm not even half the way through. I couldn't even sniff bourbon earlier without instantly thinking of regret and deciding to leave it.

As two wise men once said, what the fuck is going on?

^Tullamore dew ! you ought have stuck to Jemmy, the Dew is mostly for export, I can't ever remember hearing anybody shout it in an Irish pub.

A 750ml bottle of this, after seeing a few comments in this thread. never tried it before. £3 on offer in Sainsburys

drinking it from the bottle and I'm liking it. I doubt I'd like the blonde version though

Great value at that price, pour into a large wine glass to break it open don't be afraid to let a head form and settle, keep the glass refreshed and it will give much more.

Drinking orange, grapefruit juice with berocca. It's nice, but makes your pee bright yellow 8o
 
A nice cuppa of tea today to try and put some moisture back into my mouth.
I hate the dehydration that comes with too much alcohol.
 
Don't you find that Advocaat sticks to the back of your throat like a fur ball?

Yeah I know what you mean Kate about the Advocaat sticking to the back of your throat.
I do love the warmth that it brings to my belly though.
For me Xmas just isn't Xmas until I have a glass of Advocaat in my hand. My own little Xmas tradition.
 
Have any of you cider folks , Mailmonkey , i no theirs others tried the Thatchers premium stuff ?

Theirs one called Kate actually . Hi Kate <3 Theirs 3 of them all 7.2 % can't remember the other names but i would strongly recomend em to any of the cider crew that apprediates a nice strong cider , seriously these are some of the best i've had n i've had many a cider.

Maybe only Sainsburys do em cos i not seen em elsewhere , n Sainsburys is like 100 yard from me they doing 3 500ml bottles for a £5 well wort it .
 
those Tatchers are fucking YUM ...
the one with Katy Apples is ace. they do an 8%+ one in that deal too.

if anyone is going to sainsburys ... sainsburys own brand cider [750ml bottles], the one that's labelled up to look like Merrydown on the same display shelf ... it's labelled up @ £2.49 [and on 3 for £5] ... BUT the single 750ml bottle scan in at £1.49 ... and have done for the last year! meaning it's like 3 for £4.46!

... or like 3 bottles of merrydown for less than a fiver [7.2 or 7.4% too, cant remember exactly]. tastes ace, and almost identical to merrydown
