Gingrich: Ron Paul’s key base is ‘people who want to legalize drugs’

" And as I said, I think the key to his volunteer base is people who want to legalize drugs.” - Newt

^^^^^

That is the ONLY thing the other republicans ever talk about when attack Ron Paul.. He doesn't want them legal b/c he likes drugs and wants to do them, it has to do with the concept of freedom and ending the drug war thats costing billions of dollars to fund.. just think we legalize drugs, 80% of prisoners go free (frees up tax money), we can cut the entire DEA agency and use that money to fund other more righteous things (like balancing our budget or helping out poor people, etc) , and we could cut about 75% of all police officers in the country... sseeing as most "crimes" are drug related...

if you don't vote for Ron Paul, you don't believe in freedom (and probably don't have a soul either).. and im not voting for him just cuz he wants to legalize drugs, im voting for him cuz he wants to legalize FREEDOM! what our country was founded on....

^^
Yes! None drug using people that support legalization are the clearest thinking people in the world. They have no motives to have them legalized beside the fact that it just makes fucking sense!!

So why exactly is it the US responsibility to "protect Israel"?

Israel has caused it's own problems by kicking Palestinians out. What makes it our duty to defend a tiny little Jewish country made in the middle of a bunch of Muslim ones on the other side of the world?

Thank you!! :D Exactly. I never understood one government's totally unneeded reliance on supporting other mini-countries across the world. 8(

And what's wrong with wanting to legalize drugs? Maybe some parents just want their kids to live in a world that accepts them for their flawed selves, and so that maybe they don't spend their family's fortune on their DOC....

Would abortion be legal (at all, under any circumstances) under Ron Paul?
This seems to be something that most druggies ignore.

Go freedom.

It's a state's decision, not federal, in Paul's eyes.

And shitty to hear Mitt is doing well..

People have this irrational fear that if drugs were legal, everyone would be OD'ing and killing everyone in violent drug-induced rages and DUI accidents.

Oh wait, most people who don't do drugs only for fear of legal repercussions are already doing this on alcohol :\

Imagine if they switched to weed because they no longer needed to be drug tested...

I know so many people who used to be druggies who are now alcoholics and even more violent, more irresponsible etc. But at least they won't lose their job when they get randomly piss tested :\

Go freedom.

It would be left up to individual states. This is assuming Paul actually bothered to overturn Roe V. Wade. Obama was supposed to close Gitmo, remember?
