"Darkness cannot be dissipated with more darkness.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Thursday took a few rhetorical shots at his rival Ron Paul and his unorthodox libertarian message, according to CBS News.

“This is a guy who basically says, if the United States were only nice, it wouldn’t have had 9/11,” he told conservative commentator John McCaslin during a radio interview.

“He doesn’t want to blame the bad guys… He dismisses the danger of Iranian nuclear weapon and seems to be indifferent to the idea that Israel could be wiped out. And as I said, I think the key to his volunteer base is people who want to legalize drugs.”

Lol, the GOP is getting scared.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Ron Paul not even against using our military might, it's just that he's more for not living out of the reach of our own means?
Too bad most of the people that would vote for him in Iowa are going to all be back at their parent's house for Christmas, and thus not at their dorms there.

I've always disliked gingrich, hes such a moron. If he thinks he has a snowball's chance in hell at winning the election he should just shut the hell up already:p
I'm voting for Ron Paul again, we need him in office already

I hear Ron Paul's name everywhere, but everyone tells me he's not going to make it in the polls.
I think it'sbecause I go to sites on the net where a lot of ron-paul people go.

Honestly, is it even likely that he'll make it?

I don't follow USA politics that much, still a lot mroe than my own countries politics, Australia.
Not much happens here.

Yes it is likely. There is widespread coverage on Ron Paul and his high chances of winning the Iowa Caucus, which is key for a presidential candidate as it is what got Obama the seat as the Democratic candidate.

For anyone who disagrees about Ron Paul on his issues of cutting welfare and social security. All is not lost. The states will still have the power to provide welfare, food stamps, help with healthcare insurance, college loans, disability etc. In my opinion it's better to vote for someone who will bring some good change and some bad, than someone who won't change anything about the shit that has hit America's fan (Obama). It seems to me there is no better choice. Ron Paul seems to be the only incorruptible candidate in this entire election that has a chance. Every one is addicted to corporate donor money (bribes), and they'll do the bidding of those corporations first, if they plan to help the american people at all.

If Ron Paul does eliminate the regulations passed on corporations it would be better than what it is now: a game that is rigged in the corporations favor. Any coroprations that makes risky decisions or fucks over and frauds people, will at least go bankrupt, instead of being bailed out by the government (with hard earned taxpayer money) for being "too big to fail."

I think Ron Paul's foreign policy would be one of the biggest positive changes. All the money wasted on maintaining a global empire, will be better spent. Bringing the troops home and ending the war will save the lives of many troops, and will improve the respect of the U.S. among the international community.

He's not a moron, he's very intelligent, hence more dangerous.

It's a baby!- I was originally going to call him a douche, but thats kinda sexist (and I'm trying to cut down on using sexist words and general swearing these days) I've just never liked anything gingrich has ever had to say, he has his own agenda, and he hasn't shut up since i was in 3rd grade. If I can help it, I wanna keep gingrich out of office, he should die soon anyway=D eventually all the worst ploiticians are gonna die off, then younger, more just ones will take there place (hopefully, unless they start cloning em, then its all over)

Ugh. Newt.

I'm glad the MA (d) candidate, Mitt?, is out of it. He's a douchenozzle if there ever was one. (Have met him, and his wife)

He's not out of it at all. In fact, his contingency strategy is to support a Ron Paul victory in Iowa so that Gingrich will weaken. Mitt is not afraid of Paul, only of Gingrich.

^That's similar to what I was thinking from the start, although it took me a while to decide if it was Gingrich or Romney.
If I knew more about politics, I guess it would have been more obvious.

Not to get off track, but I'm revoting for Obama.

Gingrich admits to smoking marijuana when he was younger and hes on record saying that we should kill anybody caught with over two ounces...and im pretty sure it was any substance

That is what they said when Nixon was prez.
Then we got Reagan. They said it again.
They we got lots of Bush.
The small-minded, selfish, Grinches will always gravitate toward politics.
To hope that they will all die out one day, and none will be left, is nothing more than foolish idealism, I would say.
They are training their kids, even as I write this, to continue their mission.
