What age do you think you will die?

well medicine and treatment is evolving as we age, and at probably a faster rate. So who really knows what scientific break-throughs will occur in the next 30 years or even less? Everyone thought it was impossible to travel faster than the speed of light, but we all know what was concluded recently...You just don't know. It's an impossible question to confidently answer. I could die tomorrow; get struck down by an Ambulance!

A guy in my class at high school was walking through richmond park, and a fucking branch fell off a tree and killed him...RIP. But fuck, it's just such a mind-boggling and unpredictable existence.

But I'm guessing - judging by my lifestyle and genetics - I'll probably die of a heart attack at the age of about 65.
 
lol "poster" you got me laugh with this one,no I belive I was pretty clean headed when I wrote that except usual amount of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in my system

Exactly right. I belive you can atleast exert personal control over the odds of a longer or shorter life through 'lifestyle choices', but that still leaves a hell of a lot down to chance or genetics. From my era of schoolmates/people that i grew up with 1 died aged 10 from a heart condition, 1 commited suicide, a couple have been killed in freak accidents, a couple more killed in road accidents. Ive recently turned 40 so yet to really hit the times where every week it'll be "so and sos died".

I honestly think i could die any time between right now or 2061.
 
I was going to get you a pic of your Poppy Mugz.. its really doing well! Its going to be a triffid. But I couldnt find any batteries for the camera so I uploaded you some nice Morris Dancers



You can fantasize mowing them all down with a steam roller if you like.

At least youre still at the stage of saying ' I hope i'll get to 70'... I'm like 'Oh God how much longer' 90% of the time.

Not that I'm trying to do morbidity dick sizing or owt.. I was kinda hoping to be a bit soothing for you Mugz because youre one of my favorite people on here.. but I've done pretty crap really. Sorry.

I actually cant bare it when people try to cheer me up when Im depressed.. so again .. sorry.

You are so sweet Yellow :) I am not really a massive fan of Morris Dancers, but that message made my evening :)

What age do you think you will die?

I am changing my prediction to NEVER!!!!! I think that by the time I am ready to die there will be technology available that will allow me to live forever in either another body or a machine of some kind =D

You did a good job, be proud of yourself :)

The older you get the longer you want to live! There is so much to do and see out there, hopefully one lifetime will fullfill all I want to see and do...
 
Well pleased that my thread is right at the top, even though I hardly have any time to post. Lulz @ Mugz's blatant attempt at pulling. Nice. ;)
 
I'll properly take my Dad's side, my granddad died at 81. He smoked and drank loads too. I'll be happy to die at 68. I'll properly live a long time unfortunately. :)
