Sources of good information on steroids for beginners to learn...

I actually started taking a baby asprin a day to deal with blood pressure along with an OTC diuretic (with a potassium supplement of course) in early October. I have borderline high blood pressure which is not a result of steroid use but fucking stress. One of my doctors knows I am taking steroids and has kept an eye on my vitals since I started. The blood pressure problem started when my girlfriend broke up with me.

I get random heart flutterings and I take it when those occur. They make me paranoid. I read that if you take it daily and then stop your blood pressure could be worse than before. Watch out.

Some good info here thanks guys, its appreciated.
The one thing that I'm going to have difficulty is my diet, I simply don't have time to be cooking proper meals and I can't afford it anyway, I'm a sales assistant making minmum wage. I do take a VERY good weight gaining protein every day (1300 cals + 30 protein per scoop), and creatine but I wouldn't be able to get proper food e.g. Chicken, red meat... I don't have a particularly bad diet, and I eat quite a lot but I don't eat the best foods. How much of a problem would this be?

And if I were to run just test, what would you guys reccomend for a first cycle? How long? How much, 1 inject or 2 per week? What pct and anti es would be best?

Thanks again,
Nolys

It could be a big problem. Without the right fuel and enough, you won't make any gains. You need at least 4,000 calories a day and a lot of protien if you are trying to put on serious mass. You take a weight gain protien everyday so that brings you down to only needing an additional 2,800 calories. Shop smart. You can buy frozen chicken and fish for cheap and even canned foods for cheap. Instead of the local store, shop at a Wal-Mart or Warehouse type store where they sell shit in bulk. Cut coupons. Look for sales. If you don't have time to cook, cook a few days worth of meals and put it in the fridge, heat it up as need be.

Do what Guido says but it doesn't sound like your ready for steroids. You need to consistently be eating good food day in and day out and the best way to do that is to make your own meals. I make my meals in advance and eat them during breaks. I worked in a retail area at a time and that's how you do it. ...or hide your food somewhere and walk back to take a bite every now and then (takes way too long to eat anything). Luckily I don't work retail anymore.

Brown rice is super cheap. Get a rice cooker and make up a batch so you always have it on hand. Buy oatmeal, use a coffee grinder and drink it if you're pressed for time. Three cups of oatmeal dust is easier to drink than drink. Buy frozen beef patties, chicken breasts, bake everything and store it in tubberware. It's fairly easy but you have to stay on top of things.

Once you've done that for awhile you can turn to other measures.

Its not that I don't eat enough, I would easily eat 4-5000 calories per day including my protein shakes, though some, not all of my foods wouldn't be the best sources of fuel. For instance if I'm hungry (which I always am) ill just turn to the first thing I see, which could be a can of soup, a bar of chocolate or a bag of cashew nuts...
The main answer I need to know about diet is wether or not eating some bad foods e.g. Chocolate would act in any way against the steroids or would this still count towards the calories? My diet per day would probable be 2500 calories from good food 1000 from bad and 1000 from my protein.
Is this accectable or do I have to be on a very healthy, good, nutricious diet?

And aushoj, I agree, I am deffinitly not ready to start a cycle yet, I for one don't know enough yet to safely start a cycle when it comes to anti-es and pct. I'm just in the process of gathering information, its a lot easier and more interesting asking you guys on BL than trying to siphon through information on the web
Thanks for the input too :)

Jesus I have so many questions... How would I go about getting blood tests and getting my BP checked? I live in uk so out med treatment is free though should I just tell my doctor I'm starting juice or how do I go about doing this?

EDIT - guido, I just read the starter cycle thread you posted and thought it was excellent, answered a few questions that I didn't even know I had lol. Thanks a lot.

As long as you don't eat to much chocolate, it will count towards your calories but you don't want to much sugar in your diet. You need to have a very healthy nutritious diet, you are building muscle so you need good nutrition. It's okay to have a cheat meal but don't make it 1,000 calories worth. You are looking to burn fat and gain muscle so you want to lean bulk.

Some pharmacies in stores like Wal-Mar, Sam's Club, Hannaford, etc... have a blood pressure machine that accuratly takes your blood pressure and gives you the results. There is even a small machine you could buy that you stick your finger in and it checks you and displays the results.

I would try being honest with your doctor if he is cool.
