Apparently I posted a PM that exceeded the 10000 character limit. I figured no problem, I'll just break it up into two separate PM's.

Well. . . that is until I tried to send part 2 and saw this:

Bluelight Message
You may only post 1 messages every 180 minutes.

Is this just until you achieve a certain post count?

Greenlighter PMs are restricted, so you should be fine now since you just became a Bluelighter.

Yeah I'm an idiot. . .

Seems you all where serious about that sticky that says "Read before Posting - Seriously!"

My answer:
Greenlighter? Bluelighter?

First of all, a Greenlighter is a new member who has made fewer than 50 posts.

During this phase of your membership, you will not be able to:

Greenlighters can in PM anyone, but are limited to 1 PM every 3 hours. Use it wisely. Keep in mind that if you are caught abusing the PM function (trying to source, for example) there will be severe consequences.
Attach files to messages.

Once you have made 50 posts, you will become a Bluelighter and you will be able to PM regularly. Please note that it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for this change to take affect, so please be patient.

Mods. . . delete this thread. Unless of course you want to keep it as a "Seriously, we're serious about seriously reading the serious FAQ - Seriously" warning example of how not to be an idiot.
