Could I be pregnant? Dry sex naked, no condom, on birth control.

Please do not answer if you are going to be judgemental, i made a mistake and now am asking for advice.

On friday my boyfriend and I were highly intoxicated, and had dry sex, although i guess you wouldnt call it dry sex because our cloths were off. Im pretty sure he didnt ejaculate but im not sure like i said we were intoxicated. He didnt have a condom on and didnt go inside me, but i know sperm can swim (if there were any). I have been on the Depo provera birth control shot for about 2 years now. I know the shot is not 100% gaurenteed as is any birth control. I was just wondering of what the chances are of me becoming pregnant?

where did he come? What did you do afterwards?

The chances of getting pregnant by sleeping on the wet spot is highly unlikely - maybe if he came on you and then you or he transferred that into yourself (fingers / toys, turkey baster [hey it is Christmas] etc) then there is a chance but I wouldn't be worrying about it tbh.

If this is really worrying you then pop to the pharmacy and get a home pregnancy kit (and some condoms for the next time).

Good luck

I doubt you're pregnant. Where did he even cum?

All I can say is run and get some planned b is you're that worried.

he did not penetrate you and he did not ejaculate? i'd say there's little chance you're pregnant. why are you asking? what aren't you telling us?

why not get a pregnancy test and be sure?

^^This

To be pregnant, his sperm needs to get inside you. Chances would be higher if he ejaculated near you. Or if he penetrated you. But considering he didn't ... :p

Probably less than 1%.

This.

It's great that you're so concernced about this issue, even though you made the mistake your'e rational mmind kicked in and took the proper precautions in the form of anxiety and critical thinking on your behalf.

You can never be too careful, but honestly, in my opinion you have nothing to worry about. I've had sex multiple times and rarely use condoms (because I'm stupid, I wouldn't condone it and I do nowadays for sure) and always pulled out. Again, sheer luck played a huge part in this but I've never impregnated anybody.

I don't know how old you are but from what I gather here you have the right idea about sexual safety and caution.

That's the only way to fix his wagon.

I don't think you are preagnant. Although the depo shot isn't 100%, it is about 99% and given the fact that he didn't ejaculate inside you and the depo keeps you from ovulating and without ovulation you can't make a baby so definetly not.

depo provera isn't 100% effective, but it has a failure rate of less than 1% when used perfectly and without any other birth control method. meaning, providing you're getting the depo shot regularly and consistently, and even if you're allowing your boyfriend to ejaculate inside you, a resulting pregnancy would be extremely unlikely... not impossible, but less than 1% chance.

couple that with your assertion there was no penetration, i'd liken a pregnancy under those circumstances to be nothing short of a miracle.

why not get a pregnancy test and be sure?

this. except that even if conception occurred on friday (or a few days after since sperm can survive in the fallopian tubes for several days waiting to fertilize an egg), a pregnancy test will be unable to detect the pregnancy hormone hCG until the morning of her missed period.

You're on the shot? Yeah, don't worry so much girl. You're probably OK but like others have said, hit up a preggers test if you're not sure.

Also, you'll know even the day after if he came. I am going to get disgusting for a minute lol and just say that it uhhh comes out the next day. You have to wear a panty liner the next day. Or, at least pee a few times.

(This is my gross post of the day lol)

Could is a question of possibility. Which is going to be yes, it would not violate physics, chemistry or biology and is therefore possible.

However, its exceeding improbable.

Now, if you are that worried, instead of asking if it is possible on the internet, why not determine the statedness of that possibility by getting a test?

I was on depo for years and never used condoms with my boyfriend at the time, and never got knocked up. It would be extremely unlikely for you to be pregnant, especially because you are on depo, and your boyfriend did not come inside of you.

If you are pregnant, I would call that divine intervention.

Don't have unprotected, non penetration sex during Christmas time. The risk of immaculate conception rises over the holidays as the spirt of Jesus tries to come back to earth in mortal form.

...but i know sperm can swim.

Even if he did ejaculate somewhere outside your vagina or in the general vicinity, it would have to be the Michael Phelps of all sperm. We're talking about one robust, determined sperm for it to swim across your thigh, over the labia folds, and into your vagina. I mean, that would have to be a sperm that has trained all day, every day for such a feat.

The chances of you being pregnant, seeing as he didn't enter you, didn't ejaculate, and you're on birth control, well... virtually zero. But I can understand the anxiety and concern.

...then, surviving the acidic, spermicidal environment of the vagina, swimming into the cervix through thickened cervical mucus (thanks to the depo), through the uterus and into the fallopian tubes. THEN, fertilizing a recently released egg (which depo prevents). THEN, the tiny zygote implanting into a thinly-lined, inhospitable uterus (again, thanks to the depo).

phew! Michael Phelps in a speed boat wearing full-body armour with a side of devine intervention. :)

But even the Michael Phelps of sperm cannot swim that far without liquid.
And the human body cannot produce enough liquid for that type of olympic journey.
