Why am I always so cold when I roll? Does this happen to anyone else?

Every time I take MDMA, I'm always freezing! I usually take it when I go to shows, but I get so cold that I don't want to dance. I always bring an extra hoodie or zip up with me and I'm still pretty cold. I hate it because it kind of ruins my roll. Does this happen to anyone else?? I know normally it's supposed to raise your body temperature and everyone gets really hot and sweaty, but I just get really cold! All my friends seem to be fine, only me. Does anyone know why? This really baffles me.

Just in case you were wondering, I tested my pills and they're MDMA.

I'm sorry if I'm putting this question in the wrong place! I've looked around and I haven't seen this question asked.

What state/province/region do you live in?

Just wondering, maybe you live in a cold environment.

I live in NJ. The weather varies year-round. But I'm always inside (normal temperature) when I roll so I don't think the weather really matters.

Have you tried feeling your forehead to see if you really are cold? I've noticed some times I thought I was cold but really I was quite hot.

I've never tried feeling my forehead. I should try that next time. But my extremities were all cold to the touch. One time I rolled in a hotel room and the heat was all the way up to 90 degrees F so I wasn't cold.

I used to get incredibly cold towards the end of my roll, and I've had friends that absolutely cannot deal with anything cold while on MDMA.

MDMA can really affect body temperature quite a bit, some people overheat and some people have the opposite reaction.

My temp is all over the place when rolling. Sometimes I get cold too, even when it's warm out or if I'm in a hot tub.

Main thing is to keep an eye on your temp and don't let it hit extremes.

serotonin plays a substantial role in regulating body temperature. while you're rolling you may notice significant fluctuations in your body temperature due to your body's decreased ability to regulate its temperature.

IMO i think that u are actually quite overheated.. and since u r overheated the air around u feels cold.. think about when u get the flu.. u get a high temp and yet u feel freezing and usually have to cover up in a bunch of blankeys to get to a comfy temp.. i think that's whats going on with u.. i have noticed that when i get to overheated i feel cold too.. i don't know how to fix it! but IMO i think thats what going on!

This . . .

:)

I generally like my AC set to 70 and am very comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt when around my house. . .
When I'm rolling I generally have my thermostat set to around 74-75. . . of course i'm often wearing far less :)

I know I don't roll well no matter how prepared when it is cold. I took 180mg recently and noticed like I have befpre that mdma does not effect me as much in cold weather. I was not sure, but after the last time I am sure.

I often get shivery on the come up, but turn warm later on. I find the best remedy is to make the rolling room really warm in advance.

I am always freezing on the come up. I'm usually quite cold during my roll as well. I'm usually at a club with tons of people - if it is really busy and overcrowded then sometimes I get hot. But on a normal day, I always have a sweater on meanwhile everyone else is shirtless, tank top, etc.
Be careful not to wear too much though. Like don't wear five sweaters and turn up the heat too much.

Yea I remember the last time I rolled I was freezing on the comeup. Was wrapped in a blanket on the couch for a bit then it went away. Right bout the time I started rubbing my head and hair saying holy shit this feels so good Idk wtf to do w myself right now is when the coldness finally went away
