1200 mics LSD

Hey blue,

Iv read around a couple of places that 1200 mics is the epicenter of a LSD trip, our body doesnt make use of anymore. Could you guys tell me what the trip would be like. And another thing I would like youll to clarify, is how different the trip would be different from a 500 mic?

even on normal doses of lsd trips are very different from person to person and from trip to trip. At that amount it would be very hard to explain in words what exactly a person is experiencing, and theres no way you could expect there trip to be anything like yours.
 
Thanks buddy, But id appreciate it if someone with personal experience would step up and say something.
 
Perhaps you guys could help me out by answering these questions....
1) Is there gonna be a dominant sense of Synaesthesia during the trip?
2) How much longer do you think the trip would last?
3) How does jumping to a dose of 1200 mics affect your so called "tolerance", the next time you trip?
 
if you were to somehow consume this much lsd i imagine you would go catatonic at a certain dose.
i may be wrong though.

but that's just a waste of acid IMO.
 
I seem to remember hearing that the rumour that 1200 mics was the maximum amount of receptor saturation was based around the name of the band 1200 Mics and people saying that they were named for that reason - when in actual fact the name was simply chosen because at the time one of the band members was on 1200 mics.

I've never seen any evidence to suggest the 1200 mic rumour is true, and I believe it to be one of the many drug myths that some people have taken down as fact, simply because it was suggested as theory. (ala DMT being produced in the pineal gland.)

It's worth bearing and mind that if there is a receptor saturation limit it will differ from individual to individual. ;)

I took 1200 mics one time. (approx)

It was a fairly sloppy trip, hard to see what was in front of my face, and I couldn't perform basic functions for several hours. Could only just sit there. Also the comedown was very confusing and I had lingering visuals for like another 20 hours.

In contrast, something like 500 mics is a fully psychedelic experience. Having had a lot of experience between 60ug and 700ug, I believe there's really no point in going beyond ~500ug with LSD.
 
What bluedolphin said, with 1200 mics your not looking for a meaningful trip really. More of chaos, not understanding even the simplest things can turn you mad. Stop thinking your a heroic doser : P Don't go over 500ug

Peter Stafford's "psychedelics encyclopedia" lists receptor saturation at 500ug. I don't know :xactly where the 1.2 mg saturation estmate came from. If someone could link me published info on this that'd be great. Thanks :)
