I've had a pretty regular coke habit these past 6 months. I've used once a week with a one month break in between. Now I get after effects the scare the shit out of me. The first time it happened I used longer then I usually do, only by a half hour though and I did slightly more. I started to feel light headed, a bit tingly and had this really anxious feeling like something wasn't right. It was awful and I was actually thinking about going to the hospital when It didn't wear off in an hour. Just as I was about to leave for the hospital I started to feel better. I used again a week later and everything was fine. To sum this up I've been a fool and gone back to it and I just find the highs aren't as good anymore and I've had these symptoms show up 2 more times. Last night it happened after I only used a little over half a gram in 5 hours and I had to lie in bed trying to talk myself down that I wasn't going to die. I'm so fucking sick of this shit. I pay to almost kill myselfand the high isn't even that great, but I can't stop thinking about it? This garbage is not worth my life and it just doesn't effect me like it used to. It's not fun anymore and I have a lot to lose.

Can someone tell me based on my symptoms if I was indeed almost having an overdoes?
I've tried searching it online but they don't give the best answers.

Symptoms were

light headedness
a bit tingly in hands and feet
Feeling very warm at times
dry mouth-always needing water
increased heart beat
over all very anxious feeling

This lasted about an hour and a half. Whenever this happens to me it doesn't usually start right after I've done a line. It's usually about 30 min after the dose.

I'm done with coke but I'm just curious what all of a sudden caused my body to not enjoy the drug anymore? I used to do a gram with a few drinks no problem in 6 hrs and now I can barely handle half a gram. When I use now it just isn't the same. I'm 30 yrs old and I'm wondering if my body can't take what it used to at 20. I never had a steady habint back then but when I occasionly used, the highs were really good. It's not the same and I'm done.

You likely are just getting shitty coke and are experiencing more effects from an active (and possibly dangerous) cut than from what cocaine is actually present - your continued desire to rediscover a way to feel those first wonderfully euphoric and smooth effects suggest that there is some coke present in whatever you are getting, just not much. Hence your split feelings and resulting frustration and confusion. You like the coke and hate the cut. Three solutions: Quit altogether or find a better source or perform Le Junk's brilliantly simple and effective acetone wash and try the resulting coke - remembering of course to reduce the line size in accordance because I can guarantee it will certainly produce the high you are pursuing with this drug at very small doses. It might also result in a very expensive addiction ( distinct possiblity because good clean coke is indeed a wonderful feeling - one I forgot how powerful a desire to keep experiencing it results in - so be mindful of that aspect if you do try this option. It will definitely be tempting to do over and over again believe me.

I don't know a lot about drugs but I used to have a serious coke habit. I was snorting almost eveyr day for a year. At first it was great. It was intense, I could talk, I felt unstoppable (I tend to shy down in social situations). After a while the high never came, I was only snorting to feel normal and and keep from my body withdrawing. I hated the way I felt. I was always pissed off, felt like shit, couldn't sleep and if I didn't snort I'd sleep 24-48 hours with all kinds of withdrawal symptoms.

Anyhow, cocaine has this effect. Your body has gotten used to it's effects so in turn you need more. Once you do more, you experience the anxiety and potential over dose symptoms. As your "high" comes down, and the hours that follow it, the person with decide they are done. Time may pass, but eventually the user goes back to snorting because the body and mind is addicted and feels as though it needs the drug.

If you are only snorting once a week, you have time. Cocaine is highly addictive. Being my DOC for so long, finally getting off was the best thing I did. I'd never look at it again. There are safer drugs that have a better high that can give you similar effects as cocaine. Stop while you can.

I'm interested to know what you have in mind? The main things that put me off cocaine are the price, cardiotoxicity and potentially dangerous cutting agents (like phenacetin).
To the OP, I don't have much to say, probably nothing that no one else has said. I don't know why a relatively small amount would cause those symptoms, it could be cut with something unpleasant but could be tolerance etc, I don't know tbh. I guess the best thing to do is to find other ways of having fun and accept that your days with coke are over, which it looks like you're doing.

Seems like you are just having the common ill side effects from cocaine, it might not be your drug. If you were near overdose you would probably be having convulsions where your legs/body are moving/shaking; I remember the first time that happened to me and it scared the shit out of me.
