Frumious Bandersnatch
i am most pleased for you MM, and you've given me some hope.
i know what you mean about picking up the slack with other parts of your body too, i get back and shoulder ache from subconsciously protecting my elbow. maybe i should decide all my symptoms are psychosomatic, there's a high chance a lot are, though the consultant said some pain is expected due to the position of pins in relation to nerves, and think them away. did you have any sort of psychological issues about your hips? i decided whilst lying on the snow, before treatment, that i deserved my injury and consider it a constant reminder of my own stupidity, and suspect this self-punishment attitude doesn't help.
