benzo's aren't really heavy sedatives unless taken in very high doses, they're just sleep AIDS really... i notice when i take 4 mg of clonazepam i get in a very comfortable hazy mind state similar to that of alcohol but without as much physical impairment, and just like alcohol i HATE falling asleep on it, i always feel like wandering around the streets at night, in a way i suppose they can have a stimulant-like effect too.
