Dissociatives [DXM Subthread] DXM Dosage - How much to take?

Yea, sorry I couldn't reply to your PM right away, I'm still limited to one every two hours.

For music, whatever you prefer is probably okay. I like classical, or anything without many lyrics. "Heavy" music gets a little overbearing for me, like an assault on my head.

"Dex space" is hard to describe...and I imagine different for everyone. For me, the first time, it was like rocketing through space and zooming from one thing to another. Nothing looked "real" mind you, its just so hard to describe...nothing like LSD or Shrooms for sure. I had many "visions", like people ice skating on the rings of the planet Saturn and watching nuclear bombs drop one after another on to the planet Earth (I assumed I was watching world war 3 at the time). The music really drives the visuals, another reason why I like classical as the songs flow into each other smoother. Floyd is great too.

so i took 600MG and had a pretty fun time took that around 4 hours ago and its def wearing off but im still feelin pretty good but nothing compared to earlier but anyway should i really wait like 2 weeks? Because i wanted to buy like 900MG tomorrow and take around 600MG-900MG and tripp. Oh yeah basicly my report it was fun. When i got up i thoght i had did 2 much and i could feel it going from my toe 2 my head then a few seconds later i sat down and threw up then layed back down and just listened to music and got hot a couple times and the sick feeling came back a few times but when it did id drink some water or eat a couple crackers or chips. I didnt get some amazing mind opening experience tho but as i said im still buzzin from it anyway ill post more tomorrow
 
i dont think its a good idea to use dxm on consecutive days especially if your using cough syrup, dont even want to think about how bad drinking bottles of that must be for our bodies.
i find at least a week break between trips is best especially if your not just aiming for 1st-2nd plateau

also considering your weight etc i think 800-900mg would prbly be in the middle/upper 3rd plateau which is as far as i would want to go tbh

oh nah i use gelcaps and howd uk i plan on using it on consecutive days lol i actually planned on getting another 600MG tomorrow so what plateau would you say that puts me on?
 
probably in second, but i dont think you have to try get totally fucked up everytime on dxm, being able to function + funny thoughts of dxm and trippyness i find pretty enjoyable
 
what do you mean? Like take a smaller dosage? Being able to function ah yes earlier i couldnt even really think idk its hard to explain/remember lol
 
just picked up another 600MG of DXM...i should get another 300-600MG lol but nah cuz id prly go crazy and take a good bit more then in reality id want 2

dxm for me doesn't just mix well with weed -> it's practically useless without it !!
im sure other dxm lovers would confirm

i fuckin LOVE DXM im on it now =) i took 600MG around 3 hours ago i may buy 900MG 2morrow and try 900MG

or should i stay at 600MG maybe a little more. Because lastnight was amazing idk how to describe it but yeah..was thinkin how much more it could be at around 750MG or somethin like that between 600-900MG

Define ever? Because iv picked up 600MG (didnt have any more money) and this will be my 3rd night in a row doing DXM and last time was amazing it seemed as if i enjoyed it more then last time like idk uk how sometimes when you 1st smoke weed you dont rly enjoy it fully? Kinda like that ig
 
Tolerance doesn't build up after 2 or 3 uses, but it does build up rather quickly still, and NMDA antagonist (DXM, Ketamine, PCP, Methoxetamine etc) tolerance tends to be rather long lasting, some even suspect it is permanent - so it's something you want to avoid if you want to keep enjoying DXM and other NMDA antagonist dissociatives.
 
the biggest thing that builds tolerance is taking your trips too close together, not the size of the dose. it takes me like a gram of DXM to get a good high second plateau now. plus i often have this nasty compulsion to drive to walgreens. didn't happen to me until i started dosing too close together.
 
First time DXM, which dose to take?

I weigh around 105 pounds (48 kg). I am planning to take DXM from gelcaps(15mg/ea) tomorrow, by myself. I want to aim for high second or low third plateau, and DXM calculator says the lowest dose for third plateau would be 360mg. I am thinking 375mg, but spread out. I read the FAQ on Erowid and apparently I should take a few capsules first to see if I am allergic. I'm thinking I'll take 4 initially, wait 30 minutes, take 15, wait an hour, smoke some weed, and take 6 more (if I can handle it). Is this a good plan?
 
I would do a 15mg allergy test as opposed to 60mg. After that, take around 100mg at a time every 20-30 minutes to avoid nausea, and keep your dose below 400mg total.
