Those of you who know me from the Oceanic/Aussie section will know that i mentioned i was going to have a mole removed from my stomach due to it looking like it MIGHT be going cancerous. Well i had it removed yesterday and the doctor was nice enough to let me use my iPod Touch to record the surgery :P.

Note: Some parts of the video the doctors hand is in the way (he tried not to get in the way), this was due to the angle in which he needed to cut/needle. Though the major parts are fully viewable!

Its graphic'ish so viewer be warned if you dont like graphic things :)

Why did you do this?
Why did i have the mole removed or why did i post it? I had it removed because some parts of the mole started to get little bits of black spots on it, which can be a warning sign that a freckle or mole is turning cancerous. And i posted the video's in case someone is planning to also have this done, and wished to know what takes place during the procedure! Sure they could google search and read about it, but a video shows so much more :)

Uncanny! I had a couple of moles removed yesterday. My first time.

I couldn't see what was going on for mine, as they were on my neck. So I found this video very interesting.

i had one removed from my chest about .... 15 years ago. local anaesthetic worked a charm, didn't feel a thing. taking the stitches out hurt like a bitch.

btw: not clinking on vids. i don't need to see that shit.

I had my stitches out yesterday and the only one that hurt was the last one, due to my skin kinda growing over them...it bleed a tiny bit but in the end it didnt really hurt much at all.

Its for the best man.

I recently (3 weeks ago) had my second mole removed from my back..It ended up being cancerous :\ I have to go back know more often to get the other "dodgy" looking ones checked out which ill probably have to get cut out too :\

I had a mole removed from the palm of my hand a few years ago - and it's grown back a little :\ I'm assured by a number of doctors that it's not cancerous, however could have had the potential to be. What's most annoying is that i went through that only for the little bugger to come back. I get it checked regularly though, so am not worried.

^ Odd that it came back. I was told that they remove the core of the mole so that it doesn't come back.

One of the moles I got the the dermatologist to look at because I'd noticed a couple of small spots appear on it. He told me there was nothing wrong with it after looking at it for about 1 second with a little handheld lens thing that he had. I told him I'd like it removed anyway. The money and the stitches are worth the piece of mind.
