very chilled thanks acid. have a bit of a cold- its a weird one, the symptoms are more flu-like but nowhere near severe enough to warrant flu. feel v weak, muscular pain, and headcahe that seems to translate into earache. but its more like an annoyance than an illness, and am otherwise very well thanks. yourself?

joe lol, i'm not sure were that totlalitarian.

Religious people are mental. Fact. Either utterly stupid or mental. Neither of you come across as stupid so I'll have to say you're mental.

Edit - Actually, amend that to Christians/Muslims/etc & all religions that believe things like the bible or an equivalent. There might be some religions out there that don't believe in things that are clearly untrue so I don't want to tar them all with the same insane brush.

See the South Park Mormon episode. You can apply that same thinking to pretty much every religion that I am aware of, it's just that the Mormon religion is even more stupid than others.

That's what I was thinking YPDH, he wasn't around much last weekend either. Hopefully he's just having too much fun to be here! Crazy to think of people having a life outside bluelight isn't it! ;)

I encountered a few strong Christians recently and they actually had a problem with a gay person attending an event and compared (directly) being gay as the same as beastality. I personally find the majority of them a lot more narrow minded than people who aren't. I'm always up for hearing another person's views, I wouldn't criticize their beliefs directly and if that's what they believe then that's that. But with Christians and the like any I've spoken to are not open to anyone elses views, your view isn't seen as your view it's seen as wrong and theirs as correct and they will try to force it upon you even if you don't wish to hear it. It's things like that, that give me such a negative view of religion.
 
The reason I have a negative view of religion is that a lot of it is utter bullshit, totally unbelievable yet somehow normally intelligent people believe it. Have you seen people who believe in creationism? I've watched some be interviewed & they are not mindless idiots, I would say that many of them are far more intelligent than I am yet they believe in things that are so clearly not true.

God put dinosaur fossils there to test our faith. Aye mate?
