Why Widespread Panic?

i know that show well. it is filthy.

5/19/77 has teh great 2nd set

the other show on that CD 5/21/77 has a top 5 first set imo

that jack straw, that jack straw, it's filled with wild wild west flavor, jerry plays rhythm throughout most of the ending jam and it's fucking awesome

even keith sounds good

also the best version of TLEO

scarlet>fire is money(a rare first set treat)

i could care less if you think panic are a bunch of no talent hacks.
so you do care? :)
i just don't like the term.
right.
and to your point of this being a discussion forum....what would it matter if it totally pissed me off that people didn't like panic and i wanted to talk about it?? it's a discussion board where we talk about our likes and dislikes.
i get that. you need to tell your friend, china rider.

i checked out the maggot brain vid - it was a complete snoozefest compared to funkadelic, et. al.

best ever might have been a stretch. but i was standing there, looking over the bay on a sunday in berkley and it was pretty fucking magical to me.

and i've sat on plenty of lawns that sound better than halfway up at red rocks.

but for the most part, i agree.

have you seen a show with a capacity of less than 1000 people, filled to the max and everyone dancing?

amphitheaters can't compete with that

i've seen one of my favorite bands at a fucking church, that was awesome

have you seen a show with a capacity of less than 1000 people, filled to the max and everyone dancing?
sure. but that's irrelevant.

have you seen the space shuttle? a show with a capacity of less than 1000 people, filled to the max and everyone dancing can't compete with that... :)

my all time favorite space shuttle show

was the one in '86(the challenger?)

where they crashed and died

have you seen it?

Wat?

Anyway, have you ever been to PNC Bank Arts Center?
I fucking hate that place..

the challenger was a spac shuttle that crashed in '86

and is pnc bank arts center formerly known as the tweeter center in camden, nj

if so, yes, i've been there once to see ratdog/allman brothers back in '07 or '08

typical amphitheater, was lame

only time i had a graet time at an amphitheater was at the mann center in philly to see furthur

was a rockin' show and had a hot ass date on E

I know of the Challenger I just didn't understand how it fit into this thread. And I still don't.

Also I was referring to the Amphitheater in Holmdel, NJ.
