Hi

What do you all think of it compared to other benzo's ? As its the only benzo I can get my hands on, are they all pretty much the same thing?

I can somtimes get Lorazepam but that just knocks me out (3mgs)

Most benzos are very similar. Valium is probably one of the most 'balanced' one, in that it's got both anti-anxiety effects as well as sedative effects.

It will likely have a similar effect on you to what lorazepam had - though 3mg is quite a large dose to be taking of the loraz.

A mistake people tend to make is that they assume they benzos are gonna get them fucked up, and when they don't, they just eat more. Don't expect too much from valium. It's more of a functional type of drug - good for anxiety, good for sleep, but by itself, it probably won't have a huge recreational effect. It can be quite a good combo with stuff like weed though.
 
Lorazepam is also short/intermediate acting (9-16 hour half life), diazepam is long acting (24 hour +).

Some people think shorter is a bit more intense, I'd agree. Never felt a diazepam do much, only clonazepam when it comes to longer acting.
 
It's the only benzo I've actually tried and it's okay if you eat about 80mg and smoke some weed with it!

My only gripe with it is it's long half life, I feel tired for a couple of days after taking it!

I really wanna try some different benzo's but the only ones that seem to knock about round here are diazepam.
 
1.5mg alprazolam (xanax) = 1.5mg clonazepam (klonopin) = 3mg lorazepam (ativan) = 30mg diazepam (valium)

Though, people would argue

1.5mg alprazolam (xanax) = 1.5mg clonazepam (klonopin) = 3mg lorazepam (ativan) = 15mg Diazepam (valium)
 
@Gar Aha yeah, each to their own. Just making sure someone doesn't read this and think 'Right, so I better make my first dose above 80mg then' :P

And Addy - yeah, the effects can be rather subjective. I've read that 10mg diaz is equivalent to anywhere between 0.25 and 2mg loraz.
 
Try maybe 20 mg to just chill out, and see what that does. It is shorter acting, but its metabolites have a super long half-life.
 
Valium is my personal favorite benzo. It's more euphoric than Xanax, and more enjoyable with weed.

I don't know how the person above a few posts thinks 1.5mg of Xanax is equal to 20mg of Valium. Personally, I feel 3mg of Xanax is equal to 10mg of Valium.

Benzo equivalents differ person to person

and you have to rate different ways

equipotent anxiolysis
equipotent euphoria
equipotent sedation
etc.
 
Valium -> Xanax -> Lorazepam (Ativan)

Ativan is still an ehhhh. It reeaally cures anxiety, but still, ehhhh.

I hate Clonazepam (Klonopin), only like it for sleep.

Going to try Tempazepam or Nitrazepam soon, should be effing phenomenal! Fuck it, even LOW-dose Rohypnol sounds exciting, ALONE, lol!

But, anyway, 10mg Valium is superior to 1mg Xanax IMO. I just love its half-life, and seems to be much more relaxing. But don't get me wrong, I love Xanax. Great anxiolytic!

Benzo enthusiast over here. Lol.
 
I love rohypnol. Nitrazepam doesn't do much by itself I think, but combined with alprazolam or bromazepam it rocks. Rohypnol combined with alprazolam rocks too. Anxiety completely gone. Not saying you should do this, just stating that I like it.

i was thinkin the same thing ,im on many clonaz,and have tried evryone out there as far as i know,,but as someone said to each there owne i would dissagree with most of the posts on here for comparesons,,like say i could take 6 mg or clonaz and it feels about the same to me as about 30 mg valium ,,so many of you would dissagree,,but as i said to each there owne ,,also i guess you would have to take the tollerance into effect to,,but anyway ,ya i never herd of anyone not likeing clonazepams,there clean sweet and can give a nice relaxed buzz and also can put you to sleep if thats what you want to use them for,,,PEACE,,,
 
In my experience, drug experiences vary from person to person. The only way to find out what you like, is to experiment.

With that being said, always be smart. And most importantly, know what you are putting into you're body.
 
so true! diazepam is used for pretty much all benzo uses here... except clonazepam which is sometimes used with sodium valoprate for epilepsy (rarely prescribed)

oh and chlordiazepoxide for alcohol withdrawal and temazepam for sleep but thats rarely prescribed.... most others are private prescription only.

diazepam is pretty easy to get prescribed
 
Please delete this post if I'm bumping this thread, but I can't help correcting some of the previous posters. The fact that I said I like (flu)nitrazepam combined with alprazolam does in no way mean I hate clonazepam. As a matter of fact, I ate (dunno the dose, known side effect of benzos) clonazepam today. The one and only downside is the long halflife. I merely stated what combination of benzos I like/prefer.

If I'm bumping this post, you are welcome to close or delete it. Otherwise I'd really like someone to tell me which benzo Zopiclone resemble the most. I realize zopiclone is a sleeping pille, but hey, is that not the deal with most (hypnotic) benzos?
