Opioids Tollerance? Fearful.

I have been using opiates for about a year and still get a good "buzz" everytime. I am very much-so physiologically addicted but the closets things to a physical withdraw was minor (but annoying) leg pain.
I usually IV oxycodone or dilaudid. I would really want to try heroin as dilaudid only comes around for a week every month while oxy is around all year long but I hate it (no euphoria but still better then nothing). Anyways, about 4 months ago I started IV use.

My doses:
Dilaudid
- 2mg: 30min buzz but still dat rush
- 4mg: usual dose, 2 hour high nice rush.
- 6mg: insane rush, 2 hour insane high.
(I really rarely do 6mg for fear of tollerance build).

Oxy
- 20mg: statisfying buzz
- 40mg: noddin buzz

Anyways, I have essentially always had these amounts never "Raise". I read a scary post about heroin saying it is great as first but once you into an addiction you don't get high anymore and just need to maintain. Normally I was doing opis whenever I could (almost every day) but now I only have 1 connect that is my sisters and she only lets me buy stuff friday, sat, and sun (i guess weekend warrior)?
I was just wondering, is this going to happen to me? Hearing this makes me really regret opiates. I don't want to do opiates but not get a high. Any insight or experiences on tolerance would be great.​

Heroin is an opiate, just like your other DoC's. You sound like a pretty responsible opiate abuser (if thats not a contradiction), and dilauded IV has just as much addiction potential as heroin IMO. So depending on the quality of what you get if you can maintain about the same dosage in relation to your other DoC's then just disregard that post. Tolerance builds up quick but it still crosses tolerances with the other opiods you mentioned so it is basically the same game ur playing.


Only thing that might make one think that is tolerance (obviously) but also the fact that heroin isn't always going to be the same dosage every time because of purity (unlike your dilaudid and oxy) so purity can drop and leave you scratching your head a bit.

That's my two cents.

EDIT: I was assuming that the connection you mentioned was supplying Heroin? But if not yeah tolerance builds up with any opiods. If you want to avoid this (which is heavily advisable). Your going to have to take constant breaks between each dose. If you ahve been dosing for a year you are definately phisically addicted.. Your doses arent rediculous so it might not be the worst symptoms but itll hitcha.

really id be more worried about getting a nasty H habbit, your current use is regulated and out of your control however if you do find a smack dealer thats it, you have a means to obtaining all you can buy which really isnt good regardless how it feels and that will lead to a massive tolerence, also wont your sister notice something is up when the doses you buy increase insanley fast as you tolernece rockets (if this does happen)?

Today (thursday) is day 4 without opiates and I am extremely excited for tommorow because its opiate day after work. Normally monday and tuesday I am fine but it is wednesday and thursday when my legs annoy the fuck outa me and I feel abit weaker so i guess it is a mild withdraw. I usually go to the gym and take a OTC muscle relaxant and I have good sleeps and it helps manage pain. Nevertheless thanks for your help.

I keep my tolerance in check by getting high for two days max, then just having a maintenance dose. Usually my week goes Mon- maintenance, Tue- get high in evening, Wed- maintenance, Thu- get high in evening, Fri- maintenance, Sat- get high, Sun- get high. Helps keep my tolerance steady and that I get reasonably high on days I want too. Working full time is a good counter to having serious binges.
