Liquid IR Oxycodone...

if you are talking about the concentrate, then yes, it is just as good as the pills. it hits quickly and since oxy has a great oral BA it lasts long. the dropper should be measure out 20mgs when its filled, which i think is a ml. i used to get this stuff quite a bit. there are 2 products like this that i know of, at least in the states, one is a cherry flavored liquid, the other is bitter and almost tastes like rubber, i think they put natural latex in it so you cant shoot it? always wondered about that.

but yes, liquid oxycodone concentrate is the bees knees.

they make a liquid percocet syrup as well which is only like 5mgs per ml, it has APAP in it too, kinda weak if you have tolerance bc you run into the same problems as having a bunch of percs in pill form, the APAP.

Yeah it's the concentrate. Oxynorm 5mg/5ml IR.

It's an orange colour, almost the same colour as original lucozade and it tastes really bitter!

I can feel it come on very fast, like within 5/10 minutes but for me it doesn't seem to last as long.

What's it like for redosing with? How often is it okay to redose?

I had 20ml/20mg this morning at half past 10 when will it be good for me to take another 20ml/20mg?

^ treat it the same way you would do with IR pills - if you know your tolerance to those, and how redosing works with you, then it will be the same with this. The only difference is the quicker onset, being a liquid, which means it might not last quite so long - the quicker something enters your bloodstream, the quicker the body can start metabolising and removing it!

Well I normally only dose at night and dose 20mg so have no desire nor need to redose, however I dosed 20mg at 10:30am this morning so when would be good to redose another 20mg this evening?

I would imagine it would be fine. Just be careful, don't build a tolerance.

^ it is double your daily dose, so be careful, but if you feel the effects have worn off you will probably be okay, although I'd hate to say for sure - maybe start with 10mgs instead and add more if you feel like it is okay? Be careful you don't built too much of a tolerance as J.Wallace says and watch out for addiction sneaking up on you...

My question: are these liquid oxycodone oral solutions IV 'able?

The ones available are Oxynorm 1 mg / mL and Oxynorm 10 mg / mL. I can dig up the ingredient list if needed ...

saccharin sodium
sodium benzoate
citric acid monohydrate
sodium citrate
hydrochloric acid
sodium hydroxide
sterile water

The 1 mg / ml version also contains hypromellose, and the 10 mg / mL version also contains sunset yellow (E110).

Is it a syrup? Almost definitely not, but I have never come across this forumulation before, being from the UK.. Oral liquid medications are usually absolutely terrible for your veins/blood/health in general if IV'd... oxycodine has a pretty high oral bioavailability too, it's a LOT of extra risk for not much more gain at all..

Yeah it's a syrup, doesn't look like it would be nice to IV.

Have been taking Oxycodone for the past 4 days now at 20mg/day and not had any tonight (last dose 10:30am this morning)

Is it possible to feel withdrawal after 4 days at 20mg?

^ Unlikely I would say, and if you did it would be fairly minor, and considering it doesn't have a particularly long half-life and you've only been dosing once daily, hopefully you should be okay - I don't know for sure though. I don't know exactly how long it takes for physical dependency to develop with oxycodone however, but I would imagine at least a week - but I don't know for sure, I'm sorry.

Decided to go against doing the other 20mg's before, was the first time I'd done it in the morning today and ruined it a bit for me, especially going to work on it, was just cranky and tired all day after the initial effects wore off.

I think for me it's much more of a drug I'd like to do maybe once a week in the evening just to chill out and relax.

Like I said earlier, I've been dosing at around 20mg's most days this week but I can see already how doing it too much would lead to it losing it's magic and addiction is an all too real possibility (Already gone from just trying it last week to doing 20mg Monday-Thursday this week)

^ I'm really glad about that - opioid tolerance and addiction can sneak up on you so easily. It's great that you have recognised it before it becomes a problem :)

As you've made your decision I'm going to close this now, but if you'd like it reopened or have any queries please don't hesitate to shoot me a pm.
